66 – Limit
Episode 66: Limits
Though anxious, Chen Man left the room, unable to disobey Xie Qingcheng’s words as he always had.
Xie Qingcheng approached the entrance and stopped in front of He Yu.
He Yu was dressed in his Huzhou University student uniform with a medal pinned to it, just as he had been when he was acting suspicious earlier.
Xie Qingcheng glanced at him and spoke.
“My sincere congratulations, Mr. Student Council President.”
“…….”
“Well, do you have anything else to say?”
Anything else to say?
He wasn’t a wife nagging her husband, and he couldn’t exactly resent Xie Qingcheng for deleting his contact information.
However, no matter how hard he racked his brain, he couldn’t think of a suitable excuse.
When no answer came, Xie Qingcheng narrowed his eyes and scanned him.
That gaze made He Yu feel irritated and uneasy. Since childhood, whenever he lied or something was up, Xie Qingcheng would always corner him with that look. It had been a long time since he had been under a gaze that felt like an X-ray piercing through his insides.
He instinctively became restless.
His eyes traced down Xie Qingcheng. His face, the collar of his gown, and the droplets of water sliding down his black hair.
Chen Man probably didn’t know why Xie Qingcheng showered the moment he returned home.
But He Yu knew better than anyone.
And because he knew so well, he felt even more displeased. Xie Qingcheng had accepted him. He Yu thought that since they would likely have sex several more times in the future, there was no need to be in such a hurry to wash away his traces.
Furthermore, to let Chen Man into the house.
And at the very least… he acted so comfortable in front of Chen Man. He took a leisurely shower even while Chen Man was in the house.
Xie Qingcheng didn’t trust his words at all.
The two characters of ‘Chen Man’ suddenly became a curse that broke He Yu, staining his gaze like a furnace.
“Then what about that guy? What did he come here for?”
At these words, Xie Qingcheng felt a surge of irritation.
In truth, Chen Man had only stopped by briefly to pick up a business report Xie Qingcheng had left at his dormitory last time. Xie Qingcheng had always been unguarded around Chen Man. Moreover, Xie Qingcheng’s home was too small. With such close proximity, Chen Man might have noticed the scent of semen clinging to his body.
That was why he had showered first to wash away the semen, even with Chen Man there.
How was it that every word out of He Yu’s mouth was filled with such filthy imaginations?
Xie Qingcheng’s gaze sharpened like a blade.
“He Yu, are you in your right mind? What does that boy’s visit have to do with you?”
“How does it not have anything to do with me?”
“What is he to me? And what are you to me?”
“I don’t know what relationship that guy has with you, Teacher, but…”
He Yu trailed off for a moment.
“You and I…”
He Yu’s expression became terrifyingly dark. The joy he had felt only thirty minutes ago now felt as distant as a past life. That bleak expression, just before a breakdown—one very familiar to Xie Qingcheng—crept across He Yu’s face once again.
“Did you wash away your memories along with your body? [unauthorized copy]You said you understood, Teacher. You promised me earlier.”
Xie Qingcheng glared at He Yu with eyes devoid of warmth. It was a sharp gaze that neutralized any action.
It was true that He Yu had shown stress reactions since they first slept together, but he was not such a weakling that he would collapse so easily. Now that he had steadied his heart and stood up, his inner self was strong enough to extinguish all wounds.
“…Listen carefully, He Yu. Even if I accepted you, that’s only on the bed. Once you get off the bed, you are nothing. Right now, we are nothing to each other.”
As he spoke, the fabric of his gown parted slightly. Through the gap, peach blossoms frozen beneath a sheet of ice were revealed.
Seductive, yet utterly cold.
Peach blossoms devoid of life.
A droplet of water slid down Xie Qingcheng’s cheek, gathered at his chin, and glided toward his neck. He Yu’s gaze followed the trajectory of the droplet slowly.
The droplet flowed windingly and settled on his collarbone.
At that moment, Xie Qingcheng firmly closed his gown, blocking the gaze that tried to delve inside.
He Yu looked up again. Cold, ice-like peach blossom eyes met his.
“If you have no business here, why don’t you just go back? It’s not right to cling so desperately just because you had some fun once.”
Every word struck the mark painfully.
“If you act like that, how are you different from a beast? And you’re quite—.”
Dragging out the end of the sentence, he added slowly.
“—amateurish.”
He Yu’s expression distorted hideously. He did not want to admit to this man that he was an amateur. That was why he had lied last time, claiming he had experience with sex.
But on the other hand, he was certain that Xie Qingcheng had seen through his bluff. When they first had sex at the club, hadn’t he been overly eager without any technique? Even while sweating so much that the veins in his temples bulged, he had spent a long time fumbling, not knowing what to do.
Xie Qingcheng was no virgin; there was no way he wouldn’t know that this green youth was acting out of pride.
“…….”
He Yu panted, glaring at Xie Qingcheng’s damp face.
“I didn’t come here to do that this time.”
“What a surprise,” Xie Qingcheng sneered. “Then why did you come?”
Because you deleted me from your contacts. He Yu could never admit he came for such a reason. If he did, his pride would be further shattered.
So, he fabricated a rough lie.
“Because I’m sick.”
“…….”
“I’m sick, so I came for a check-up.”
“…….”
“Don’t you remember you were once a doctor, Xie Qingcheng?”
It was a statement that did more harm than good. Upon hearing this, Xie Qingcheng’s insides boiled.
If he had forgotten that fact, he would have cut ties with He Yu long ago and lived like a stranger. He wouldn’t have suffered such a disaster today. After a moment of silence, Xie Qingcheng leaned against the doorframe and narrowed his eyes. His rationality was gradually blurring. The cold mask cracked, revealing a menacing face through the gap.
“I remember it very well.”
Anger that had been suppressed for a long time surged forward like a tsunami. Without warning, Xie Qingcheng gripped and twisted He Yu’s cheek as if pinching it.
A low, suppressed voice followed. The power contained in every single syllable was strong enough to ruthlessly strip away the human skin He Yu wore and soak the floor beneath in blood.
“But I hope you also remember that I quit being a doctor four years ago. Whether you’re sick or not has nothing to do with me.”
The low voice echoed in He Yu’s ear. Contrary to the hot breath, every word spoken was encrusted with ice shards.
“Instead, if you die of your illness, I’ll allow you to appear in my dreams to deliver the news of your passing. Who knows, if I feel like it, I might even visit your grave to light some incense, you sub-human beast.”
Then, he straightened his body and tapped He Yu’s cheek.
“Now get lost.”
As soon as the words ended, Xie Qingcheng’s pupils contracted sharply.
It was because He Yu had ruthlessly bitten his finger. Blood stained He Yu’s teeth.
“Xie Qingcheng.”
Staring intently at the man’s face, He Yu swept the tip of his tongue across Xie Qingcheng’s fingertip.
When Xie Qingcheng pulled his hand away with an indignant face, his wrist was grabbed this time.
After scanning the tattoo that had appeared in his dreams like a curse time and time again, he licked his blood-stained lips. It was a provocation purely intended to twist Xie Qingcheng’s mood.
“Your blood is quite sweet.”
He wanted to slap him across the face, but it would be a disaster if the neighbors came over because he made a loud noise. Xie Qingcheng eventually lowered his voice.
“Take your hand off.”
In response, He Yu actually tightened his grip. After a subtle tug-of-war, Xie Qingcheng’s wrist was lifted.
With his head lowered and eyes glaring, he looked directly at Xie Qingcheng’s face in front of the door of the dim, old one-room apartment.
As if to pour all the resentment and heat of unfulfilled sexual desire into Xie Qingcheng’s body, He Yu turned the arm so the tattoo on the inside of the wrist was visible and bit harshly into the tender flesh.
It felt as if poison were seeping in.
Xie Qingcheng’s jaw tightened. His skin throbbed, but he couldn’t make a sound, continuing the tense tug-of-war while meeting He Yu’s eyes in the darkness.
“Don’t forget, Xie Qingcheng.”
Finally, He Yu pulled his mouth away and flung Xie Qingcheng’s arm aside.
“You are a long-time acquaintance of my father, my personal physician, and the person I’ve had sex with. I must be someone special to you. Never say again in front of me that we are nothing to each other.”
It was a scent of blood that either satisfied the craving or made him even thirstier.
“And keep your distance from that man, Chen Man. He’s a disgusting homosexual who harbors vulgar and filthy feelings for you.”
After staring at He Yu for a long time, Xie Qingcheng spoke with blatant loathing.
“He Yu, are you in a position to criticize others right now?”
“Why wouldn’t I be?”
“Do you have no conscience? Who exactly is the homosexual here? Isn’t it you? And yet you have the nerve to insult Chen Man? If you have a conscience, look in a mirror!”
He Yu’s cheek flinched as if he had been struck hard. Dried blood clung to his tightly pressed lips.
He Yu’s face turned pale. He wanted to argue that it wasn’t like that at all, that doing that with him wasn’t because he liked him but purely for the pleasure, and since there were no feelings of love, it wasn’t a relationship or homosexuality.
But the moment his lips parted, Xie Qingcheng pushed him out the door.
“Get out. Get out right now.”
“I don’t want to. You promised to continue with me—”
“Yes, I did. But I’m tired now and need some rest. Your night service time is over. Do you understand? I’d appreciate it if you didn’t treat yourself as so special.”
“What night service! You said we were treating each other—”
Xie Qingcheng cut He Yu off with a menacing face.
“Then today’s treatment course ends here. I’m feeling very, very good right now. So, please leave, Mr. Countryside Doctor.”
Then, he gripped the doorknob.
He slammed the front door shut right in front of He Yu.
Of course, He Yu stubbornly held onto the door.
“Xie Qingcheng, stop avoiding me…”
Xie Qingcheng closed the door with all his might without a word. A red mark remained on He Yu’s hand, which had been caught in the gap. The old iron door, which hadn’t been repaired in a long time, had sharp edges. Amidst the silence, blood began to seep from the back of He Yu’s hand.
Even so, he simply looked at Xie Qingcheng as if he were a person incapable of feeling pain.
His patience had run out after the continuous skirmish. A breakdown was imminent. No matter how much he pleaded or persuaded, Xie Qingcheng persistently pushed him away and insulted him. After doing all this, what more did he want?
He Yu finally shed his mask, revealing the face of the scar-covered monster hidden beneath the human skin.
The tone that leaked through his teeth was soft yet eerie.
“Fine, great. You trust that guy that much? You trust that Officer Chen to that extent.”
Xie Qingcheng replied coldly.
“At least he’s more sane than you.”
The moment those words were spoken, [visit our site]He Yu suddenly bent his elbow and forced stolen contentthe [stolen content]door open. Then, with his bleeding hand, he pressed against Xie Qingcheng’s chest.
Bringing his face close, He Yu whispered into Xie Qingcheng’s ear.
“It’s okay. If I seem abnormal, just think of me that way. I’m used to being treated like that anyway. I saw all of your sincerity and hypocrisy in that video. It doesn’t matter how I look in your eyes. No one has ever truly loved me or looked at me as an equal anyway.”
The following voice was as smooth as silk, yet as bleak as if it were strangling Xie Qingcheng’s neck.
“I’m used to it now.”
Having finished speaking, he suddenly applied force and pushed Xie Qingcheng inside the house. The front door and the inner sliding door closed behind them with a loud noise. Kindly, He Yu did not forget to lock the door.
As he locked the door, he pinned Xie Qingcheng against the door as if venting his anger and began to kiss him.
Xie Qingcheng never dreamed that He Yu would have this much stamina left.
How long has it been since they had sex for him to be like this?
“He Yu! Don’t have a breakdown here! If Xie Xue comes back…”
But Xie Xue was no longer He Yu’s safe keyword. Pausing for a moment, he answered by slamming Xie Qingcheng down onto the desk. A half-written thesis fluttered and spilled onto the floor.
Of all people, he brings up Xie Xue’s name?
He Yu’s eyes shimmered blue. The old scab unauthorized copyon his heart was torn open, and blood poured out. As if Xie Qingcheng’s blood were a hemostatic agent, he [Read on Read BL Novels]bit into the side of Xie Qingcheng’s neck with desperation.
Yes. In his life, Xie Qingcheng was an existence that suppressed something like a medicine and filled something like a cold prosthetic limb.
In the past, he filled the void of lacking familial love.
Now, he would fill the love he craved.
Of course, Xie Qingcheng was far from his ideal type. He was a man, not kind, and had a bad personality. Being with him felt like plugging a hole where water was leaking. It was like a fake implant. Or a metal prosthetic arm worn after losing one. Though not perfectly smooth, it at least filled a critical deficiency.
After all, having something is better than having nothing.
Thinking this in the dim room, He Yu spoke in a low voice.
“Xie Xue won’t come because she has things to do. So stay by my side.”
A chilly voice. It sounded like a psychopath, yet lonely and paranoid. The tone, close to despair, also sounded like a plea.
Despite it being bright daylight outside the window, the young man said:
“The sun has set. Xie Qingcheng, don’t kick me out. I really have nowhere to go.”
