107 – I Want to Kiss You
Episode 107: I Want to Kiss You
Xie Qingcheng and He Yu sat in silence inside the car.
Before heading to the prison, they had been brimming with hope.
They had never dreamed that such a result would be waiting for them.
“Sha Hong only recently became a target.”
He Yu spoke to Xie Qingcheng with a gloomy expression, his hands folded over the steering wheel.
“When I first found him, nothing like this was happening. I think someone is tailing me.”
Xie Qingcheng leaned back into the passenger seat, gazing at the darkness unfolding outside the window.
It was a pitch-black darkness that felt as though it would never end.
“I always kept in mind the possibility that those bastards were following me. That’s why I stayed alert wherever I went, and when I visited, I told the guards it was an interview for a college assignment. I even urged them to move the second visitation time earlier. But…”
“It was pointless.”
Xie Qingcheng spoke up.
“If they investigated, they could easily find out that Sha Hong was the fish that got away. You stood out too much during the Huzhou University incident, so you likely became a proper target for surveillance. You should have told me as soon as this happened.”
He Yu muttered irritably.
“I didn’t want to drag you in from the start.”
Xie Qingcheng’s hand, reaching for a cigarette, paused. He looked at He Yu with a subtle expression.
Realizing he had let something slip, He Yu cleared his throat and put on a stern face.
“I just thought I’d be a hindrance. Anyway, could you cut back on the smoking?”
Xie Qingcheng looked at the last remaining cigarette in the pack and, as He Yu suggested, gave up on smoking.
Tucking the pack into his pocket, he rubbed the bridge of his nose and let out a tired sigh. The atmosphere was not conducive to continuing the conversation.
Then, He Yu spoke again.
“How is Xie Xue doing lately?”
“She has fevers occasionally, and just when it seems she’s getting better, she has another seizure.”
Xie Qingcheng closed his eyes, tilted his head back, and sighed.
“There are no major problems yet, but I think it’ll be hard if this keeps dragging on.”
After a brief pause, he lowered his long eyelashes and glanced sideways at He Yu.
“…I didn’t know you cared about Xie Xue this much. I thought you two would cut ties after that fight.”
It was true they might not see each other again, but regardless, Xie Xue was a long-time friend and Xie Qingcheng’s biological sister. Even if this matter had nothing to do with RN-13, he couldn’t simply ignore her.
After a short silence, He Yu replied.
“She’s a long-time friend, so it’s only natural to be worried.”
At this answer, Xie Qingcheng glanced at him.
His gaze seemed slightly surprised.
Unaware of that look, He Yu pressed the display to play music to manage his melancholy mood.
But who could have predicted it? The first song that suddenly blared out was
Every night in my dreams
I see you, I feel you…
The song pulled the two of them into the bone-chillingly cold and dangerous waters of a reservoir. In an instant, the atmosphere shifted subtly.
Listening to the song, He Yu diverted his complicated emotions regarding Sha Hong’s death elsewhere.
With the melody flowing in the background, Xie Qingcheng broke the silence.
“Don’t blame yourself too much for the Sha Hong incident. There were situations beyond your control. And as for Xie Xue… thank you for investigating out of concern for her.”
“….”
The man comforted the youth in a somewhat softened tone.
“I’ve admitted her to a reliable hospital, so don’t worry too much for the time being.”
“….”
Receiving the quiet comfort, He Yu felt a pang of bitterness in his chest.
Why doesn’t Xie Qingcheng know how I feel?
Why doesn’t he know that the reason I’m doing this, the reason I can’t let go of Xie Xue, isn’t because of her, but because of her brother?
my heart will go on,
my heart will go on
His mind was in turmoil. He wanted to suddenly turn around, kiss Xie Qingcheng, and tell him everything.
But he couldn’t. His heart had to sink, along with Jack from Titanic and the Heart of the Ocean.
As sexual impulses sprouted once more, He Yu irritably kicked the pedal board and chewed on a small curse.
Honestly, he wanted to pin Xie Qingcheng down in the passenger seat, strip him, and have intense car sex. He gripped the hair falling over his forehead violently, as if tearing it out, and turned his head away with a darkened expression.
Thinking he should get some fresh air since he was depressed, he rolled down the window completely.
Since it was early spring and the temperature was fluctuating, it was quite warm during the day but freezing at night.
Did he lose his mind while listening to music? Xie Qingcheng looked at He Yu suspiciously and leaned over to close the driver’s side window.
This only made He Yu more anxious.
“What are you doing?”
“Closing the window.”
“I just opened it.”
“Aren’t you cold?”
“….”
He was already feeling wronged and dying of heat, and the very person who made him feel that way was now leaning close to him just to close the window he had just opened.
He Yu had to lean back desperately to keep Xie Qingcheng from touching his chest. Xie Qingcheng maintained his boundaries as well, but no matter how wide the car was, they were practically face-to-face when avoiding each other from the driver’s seat.
He Yu stared intently at the man. A violent urge for sadism surged continuously.
So, he quietly clenched his fists. His nails dug painfully into his palms as if they would draw blood.
He felt that only by doing this could he stop himself from suddenly shedding his mask and violently crushing Xie Qingcheng. Though, since the man had come close to the driver’s seat on his own, he wondered if it would really be a problem to just crush him.
Boiling inside, He Yu shoved Xie Qingcheng away and glared at him with a murderous look.
“If you’re cold, you should have worn more clothes! I’m only twenty! What do you expect me to do about being hot because I’m young!”
Xie Qingcheng was bewildered. Why was he suddenly throwing a tantrum out of nowhere?
Well, a troublesome incident did happen tonight, after all.
He stopped thinking. He didn’t even have the energy to argue.
The man looked at the youth quietly before speaking.
“…Fine. If you have nothing else, I’m getting out.”
“Where are you going!”
“To take a taxi home.”
He Yu was on the verge of dying from a stress-induced fever because of Xie Qingcheng. He felt so heated that he was almost on the verge of tears.
“Then… just go! Fine, take a taxi! Since you’re late because of me, should I pay for the fare?”
As he spoke, He Yu rummaged through the car’s storage compartment and actually pulled out five and ten yuan bills. They seemed to be change the driver had received at a tollgate.
He Yu huffed as he shoved the insignificantly small bills into Xie Qingcheng’s hand.
“Go, right now.”
“Calm down.”
“I can’t!”
Xie Qingcheng, who wanted to avoid a fight, put the money back in the storage compartment [Read on Read BL Novels]and Read on Read BL Novelsprepared to exit the car.
However, despite telling him to go, He Yu locked the passenger door.
“….”
Xie Qingcheng looked back at him with a feeling of surrender.
“What exactly do you want from me?”
He Yu’s lips twitched as if he wanted to answer. His chest heaved with agitated emotion, but he didn’t know how to release this anger. Since he had promised not to touch Xie Qingcheng, he couldn’t find a proper excuse even when he wanted to do something wicked. The first answer that came to mind upon hearing Xie Qingcheng’s question was that he wanted to kiss him.
That was something not permitted.
And so, the evil dragon howled. He didn’t know how to face the treasure he cherished. It was a treasure so hot that he was likely to be burned if he drew too close.
Ultimately, He Yu got out of the car himself and slammed the door shut. Then, standing outside the window, he glared at Xie Qingcheng sullenly and fiercely, as if he were about to show him something grand.
Finally, he uttered something truly ‘grand.’
“I’m seriously sick of this. Now, just looking at you pisses me off! You drive my car! I’ll catch a taxi! I can just take a taxi, okay?!”
“….”
Before he could even react, He Yu stormed off.
After walking a bit, the kid picked up a stone from the ground and threw it toward Xie Qingcheng as if venting his frustration. The flying stone hit the six-million-yuan car, scratching about a hundred thousand yuan worth of paint.
Naturally, Xie Qingcheng did not want to drive He Yu’s six-million-yuan car. If he accidentally scratched it, he wouldn’t have the money to compensate him, and he feared he would be held accountable with his own body.
Thus, he also opened the car door and followed.
As Xie Qingcheng stepped out, He Yu shouted at him against the cold night wind.
“Why are you getting out!”
“I told you, I’m taking a taxi home.”
He Yu stood his ground, gritting his teeth. His wide-open eyes were flushed red. Overcome with heat up to the top of his head, he finally strode over and threw his coat down.
“Yes, yes, go ahead! Take this! Just go quickly! It pisses me off to look at you!”
Xie Qingcheng was genuinely baffled. Why was he acting like this? They were having a perfectly fine conversation until a moment ago, and then suddenly he hands over the driver’s seat and throws stones?
He’s making the worst faces possible, so why is he lending his clothes?
“What if I sell this second-hand?”
“Se-se-sell it if you want!”
He had spoken with bravado, but he stuttered as the biting spring wind chilled his body. His lips turned pale in an instant.
Even while shivering, He Yu stubbornly continued.
“Sell it! You’ve… you’ve sold things before…”
Looking at the youth trembling in place, Xie Qingcheng felt a mix of absurdity, amusement, and pity.
Is this guy crazy?
…Well, he is crazy.
Xie Qingcheng took the clothes that still held He Yu’s body heat and threw them back at him.
“Put it on. Don’t call me again saying you’re sick when you get home.”
“Would you even answer if I called?”
Xie Qingcheng ignored him. He felt that if he indulged him now, there would be no end to it.
There were so many things to worry about right now; he didn’t want to bicker with He Yu over a piece of clothing.
Returning the clothes, he turned around.
He Yu shouted behind his back.
“Xie Qingcheng! Why aren’t you answering! This time! Will you answer if I call! Xie Qingcheng!”
Xie Qingcheng let the evil dragon’s roar go in one ear and out the other. It was a cold night, and he felt like he was about to freeze to death. As an empty taxi approached from a distance, he quickly reached out. But then, he suddenly heard footsteps behind him.
As soon as he turned his head, He Yu’s face was right there waiting for him.
Immediately after, Xie Qingcheng was grabbed as if being embraced by He Yu and dragged back to the car.
“…You little shit, seriously. Let go!”
Consumed by rage, He Yu didn’t hear Xie Qingcheng’s words.
With his former strength and skill, he could have easily beaten He Yu. But Xie Qingcheng’s deteriorating physical condition was no match for a youth at the peak of his stamina.
He Yu forced him into the car, slammed the door shut, and sat in the driver’s seat with a darkened face.
Xie Qingcheng was so appalled that his head began to throb.
Already anxious over Sha Hong’s sudden death, the strain of dealing with He Yu caused a vein to bulge on his forehead.
And He Yu, having been treated coldly by Xie Qingcheng, was completely distraught. His reason had drifted beyond the range of control. Feeling a ringing [visit our site]in his ears, he stepped on the accelerator and surged forward.
In truth, He Yu himself didn’t know where he was taking Xie Qingcheng. Following his instinct, he pulled up at a motel and dragged Xie Qingcheng inside with a stiff expression.
The front desk clerk, who had been dozing off, snapped awake.
“…Hmm? Hey! Look! What are you doing right now?”
He Yu threw his ID and wallet onto the counter and spoke threateningly.
“Give me a room.”
Xie Qingcheng then shook He Yu off.
“For fuck’s sake, enough already!”
Without a word, He Yu glanced at him with reddened eyes and then turned a chilling gaze toward the clerk.
“A double room.”
The clerk stared blankly at the suddenly appeared lustful gay man. He had never seen a guest come in so desperate. Moreover, the man standing next to this handsome youth looked like his complexion was rotting away. Could this be a rape? Should I call the police?
“Hurry up!”
“Y-y-your ID. The other guest needs to show their ID as well…”
“This person doesn’t need to be registered. I’m sleeping alone. This person is just a guest.”
“….”
Young Master He’s gaze was chilling enough to make one’s spine shiver. The clerk, who was no invincible warrior, eventually hurried through the check-in and handed the room key card to He Yu.
He Yu dragged Xie Qingcheng toward the room.
Beep, the door opened with the sound of the card key. He Yu pushed Xie Qingcheng into the dark room and, without turning on the lights, fumbled with the door to lock it.
Only the two of them existed in this isolated space.
In the dark entryway, He Yu gazed closely at Xie Qingcheng’s face.
It was the first time in his life he had stayed in such a dirty and cheap motel. He didn’t even know why he had stepped on the gas and parked at such a dilapidated motel.
He didn’t even know what his intention was in dragging Xie Qingcheng here.
Thinking with a normal person’s logic, what more could be done after getting a room? There was only one thing to do.
The thing He Yu had longed for so deeply in the depths of his heart.
He especially missed the Xie Qingcheng from New Year’s Eve. That [Read on Read BL Novels]night, Xie Qingcheng had shown a side of himself that was rougher and more passionate than ever stolen contentbefore. While appearing to hold all the initiative, he had become entirely He Yu’s.
But who knew that would be the last supper?
Wrapping his arm around Xie Qingcheng’s waist and pinning him firmly against the closet next to the entryway, He Yu glared at the man with reddened eyes, his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down.
Tonight, the emotional state of the two was somewhat similar to that New Year’s Eve.
Both were deeply troubled by Sha Hong’s death.
Last time, Xie Qingcheng had been so distraught that he had given up and seduced He Yu in an unconventional way. Perhaps that was why He Yu was inwardly brimming with a strange expectation. He hoped that a shaken Xie Qingcheng would lean on him a little this time as well.
But Xie Qingcheng betrayed those expectations.
He Yu was in great pain. The fermented agony swelled during their argument, eventually urging He Yu to drag Xie Qingcheng to the cheapest motel nearby.
Unfortunately, though he had secured a room, it was difficult to make a move. He Yu met Xie Qingcheng’s cold, clear eyes. He suddenly remembered the sight of him sitting by the window, quietly smoking a cigarette the morning after their messy sex on New Year’s Eve.
At that time, Xie Qingcheng must have been truly upset. He must have agonized and suffered over their relationship.
A sliver of reason settled within He Yu’s convulsing interior. That reason became the puppet strings controlling He Yu’s body. It stopped him from succumbing to impulse and treating Xie Qingcheng violently.
Of course, it was too frustrating to go back empty-handed after getting a motel room.
But if he actually did it, he would once again be tormenting his [Read on Read BL Novels]only [unauthorized copy]kin and wounding the other’s body and spirit.
An angel and a demon fought fiercely in He Yu’s head. Frustrated, He Yu slammed his head against the wall next to Xie Qingcheng and thudded it several times with his eyes closed.
“….”
Xie Qingcheng was speechless.
He Yu was still pinning him against the closet, holding his wrist where a thin tattoo was engraved.
To a third party standing behind them, they might have looked like lovers kissing tenderly and desperately, entwined in the entryway.
However, Xie Qingcheng knew well that He Yu had not kissed him.
He Yu was simply burying his face in the wall next to Xie Qingcheng’s neck. The youth’s distinct breath brushed hot against his skin.
After a long while, He Yu abruptly lifted his head.
The rims of his eyes were flushed red. Resentment, unfairness, and desire spread like a sunset within his pupils.
Then, a low, hushed voice followed.
“Forget it. Let’s not. I don’t want to. I’m leaving.”
“….”
“Don’t stop me.”
Xie Qingcheng was stunned by the nonsensical statement.
“No one is stopping you.”
As if he had been hit where it hurt, He Yu’s face turned pale, and he even began to stutter.
“T-t-then, goodbye.”
Xie Qingcheng, the owner of an emotional processor running on an outdated Windows 98 boomer system, could not understand at all why He Yu was acting this way.
And so, He Yu simply turned around and left.
He felt that if he didn’t leave now, he would truly commit a cruel act of harming his own kind. Though his kin’s attitude was cold, every single action set fire to He Yu’s heart.
In his heart, he wanted to have messy, unrestrained sex.
That was why he absolutely had to leave this place.
As Xie Qingcheng had said, unlike beasts, humans are capable of controlling themselves.
Once He Yu left, Xie Qingcheng was left alone, [stolen content]staring blankly in the room. His Read on Read BL Novelsusually sharp mind had grown clouded, Read on Read BL Novelsswayed by the youngster. He couldn’t fathom what the point of this series of actions even was.
He leaned his sturdy frame against the wall, remaining in the same position He Yu had pushed him into. His cold, sharp peach blossom eyes now looked somewhat dazed. After a moment, he pulled a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, placed a filter between his lips with a practiced motion, and lit the last cigarette.
As he exhaled a light cloud of smoke, he suddenly realized he was holding He Yu’s clothes.
He didn’t usually wear other people’s clothes. Moreover, he didn’t wish for He Yu to freeze to death on a cold night.
Quickly snapping back to his senses, he chased after He Yu.
He Yu was at the front desk, belatedly paying for the room.
The front desk clerk scanned He Yu with an explicit, subtle gaze.
Didn’t he go up less than fifteen minutes ago? If you count the time to undress, shower, and get dressed, they were only in there for about three minutes, kid?
He walked in radiating so much charisma. He’s handsome and looks full of vigor, yet he finished in three minutes.
That was why the clerk wasn’t surprised at all to see Xie Qingcheng’s face, which looked like the dead of winter.
Right, who could possibly feel satisfied in just three minutes?
“You forgot your clothes.”
Xie Qingcheng spoke from behind, but He Yu ignored the voice, finished signing, and walked away.
Left with no choice, Xie Qingcheng stepped forward and draped the coat over He Yu’s shoulders.
Seeing this macho, older-man vibe, the motel clerk had the same thought as a club desk employee from long ago. Startled, he looked back and forth between He Yu and Xie Qingcheng. It seemed he had been mistaken. The protagonist of those three minutes wasn’t this young man, but the handsome man who had chased after him.
A new drama plot unfolded in the young clerk’s mind. An older man was in a sugar-baby relationship with a pretty male college student, and the student had stormed out, angry over an unsatisfying sexual encounter.
And so, the handsome older man had rushed after him to dress his “young mistress.”
He Yu turned his head and glared fiercely at Xie Qingcheng. His mood was so twisted that the words he spat out were venomous.
“Excuse me, Mister. How long are you going to drag this out over a piece of clothing?”
Unbothered by the shocking use of the term ‘Mister,’ Xie Qingcheng kept the cigarette in his mouth and remained silent. Knowing that talking to a thoroughly disgruntled princess would be fruitless, he headed toward the front desk instead.
“I’ll pay.”
The clerk found the man—who had essentially ‘devoured’ the college student and then made him pay—quite obnoxious.
“That young man already paid.”
It was a very irritating situation. With the cigarette still clamped in his teeth, Xie Qingcheng looked back at He Yu and spoke coldly, his pronunciation slightly slurred.
“Open your banking app. I’ll transfer it to your account.”
This single sentence poked right at He Yu’s twisted nerves.
The thread of his patience snapped. He Yu muttered a small curse and suddenly grabbed Xie Qingcheng, pulling him outside. It was a rough movement, just as it had been when they first entered the motel. The two of them spent the entire day circling around each other like dogs in training. From a narrow alley into the car, from the car back to the motel, and finally, after a huge fight at the motel without actually doing anything, they returned to the car.
It was truly the kind of nonsense only two mentally unstable people could engage in.
He Yu shoved Xie Qingcheng into the spacious back seat characteristic of the Cullinan and climbed on top of him, his eyes flushed. With one hand, he gripped Xie Qingcheng’s wrist, and with the other, he brushed back the hair falling over Xie Qingcheng’s forehead, stroking the straight brow and masculine eyes.
His hand trembled slightly due to a terrifying desire and the self-control he was exerting to its absolute limit.
Inside the back seat, lit only by the mood lamp, their gazes collided closely. He Yu’s dizzy, entranced eyes dug deep into Xie Qingcheng’s peach blossom eyes. Because it was a model with excellent soundproofing, the noise from outside was replaced by the sound of each other’s breathing and heartbeats ringing in their ears.
He Yu gently caressed the area around Xie Qingcheng’s eyes and forehead. Every time his fingertips touched, it felt as if a thirsty beast within was drinking a handful of water from an oasis. But this wasn’t nearly enough. It was still far from sufficient.
The closer he got, the hotter He Yu’s body became. Xie Qingcheng was his sugar, his opium, his poison, and his antidote.
He looked at the man pinned beneath him. He kept recalling the image of the man exposing all his lust before him on the night of New Year’s Eve. Even if it had been a lust bordering on desperation…
As the atmosphere persisted, Xie Qingcheng felt, for the first time in his life, that it was difficult to meet He Yu’s eyes, and he turned his head away.
Then, like a ghost, He Yu grabbed Xie Qingcheng’s cheek and forced his head back to make him lock eyes. Xie Qingcheng’s ice-cold gaze was slightly blurred.
This flicker of hesitation acted as an immense encouragement and stimulation to He Yu. In an instant, hot blood surged. After staring silently for a few seconds, their breathing became heavy and labored. Then, without warning, He Yu [visit our site]slid his fingers into Xie Qingcheng’s jet-black hair, cradled his head, closed his eyes, and kissed him.
