Chapter 9 – GOY 9

Joo Seung-hyuk put me in his car. Then, without a word, he started the engine.

I wanted to ask where we were going. However, enveloped in the dark mana swirling around Joo Seung-hyuk and a chilling murderous intent that felt as if he might kill me at any moment, I couldn’t say a word.

The luxury sedan entered a detached house.

The house was large, with a modern and sophisticated design in overall dark gray tones, but it emitted an inexplicably eerie aura.

I could instinctively feel where this place was.

The space where Kim Joon, the main uke of <The Swamp of the Guide>, was imprisoned throughout winter break, and where he was eventually trapped forever after his social existence was obliterated.

And the place where the villainous sub-uke, Lee Yeon-soo, was murdered by Joo Seung-hyuk.

This was Joo Seung-hyuk’s house.

‘The moment I step inside, it’s over.’

My instincts were screaming.

One must never set foot in the house of an obsessive yandere.

Just as I was urgently pondering a way to escape, Joo Seung-hyuk stepped out of the car and grabbed my hand, pulling me along.

“Joo, Joo Seung-hyuk Esteemed Student…!”

“I told you to stop with that fucking ‘Esteemed Student’ shit.”

“I’m sor— Ack!”

Without giving me a chance to make any excuses, he dragged me by the hand into the house.

Just as described in the original work, the interior of the house was entirely black.

I didn’t know there were actually people who painted their walls black….

Not only the walls and ceiling, but the furniture, appliances, and even interior accessories like clocks were all black.

It was truly the perfect house for an obsessive yandere.

As I went deeper into the house, scenes from the original work flashed through my mind one by one.

Kim Joon was tied up here, that rod was used for that over there, and by that pillar over there….

As the hard 19+ scenes came to mind, I felt my blood run dry.

No. I have to escape from here somehow.

But before I could even attempt anything, Joo Seung-hyuk roughly opened the door to the innermost room.

A pitch-black bed sat in the large room. Naturally, the bedding was black as well.

Is he planning to throw me on the bed and pounce on me like in the original? No, I’m not Kim Joon, so is he just going to kill me?

I shouldn’t have told Ji-hoon hyung that I was fine. I should have contacted the Center and asked them to send someone.

Of all things, because I had changed into the guild uniform, I hadn’t brought the self-defense tool the Center gave me.

I always carried it with me, yet it wasn’t in my possession when I actually needed it.

Overwhelmed by terror, my vision went dark. Joo Seung-hyuk tightened his grip on my wrist.

I squeezed my eyes shut.

Will I die here? Or am I headed for the bed?

However, he kept walking. Where Joo Seung-hyuk headed was the bathroom inside the master bedroom.

The all-black bathroom evoked a strange sense of dread.

At the same time, horror movies where people are murdered in bathrooms came to mind.

The voice of a killer from a mystery movie, indifferently stating that killing in the bathroom makes disposing of the body easier, overlapped in my head.

“I-I’m sorry.”

In the midst of blood-curdling fear, I barely managed to utter an apology. But Joo Seung-hyuk ruthlessly shoved me into the bathroom.

I hit the hard tiles and collapsed, sliding down.

“Ugh.”

A groan escaped me involuntarily, and cold water poured down over my body.

Although it was March, sub-zero temperatures persisted. In weather where your breath turns into mist even while standing still, being hit with cold water made me feel as if my entire body was freezing over.

But the coldness of the water was secondary.

A gloomy murderous intent was radiating from the mana surrounding Joo Seung-hyuk.

“Lee Yeon-soo must think I’m a joke. Do I look like an idiot just because I’m being nice to you?”

When were you ever nice?

Even in the face of the fear of death, I felt a sense of injustice, but the obsessive yandere was too terrifying for me to voice those thoughts.

I quickly fell to my knees. My legs hurt because of the hard tiles, but that wasn’t the problem right now.

“I’m sorry. But I didn’t mean to deceive you. The school prohibits part-time jobs, so I honestly couldn’t tell you. I’m truly sorry for lying and saying I was doing a group project.”

“Do you think I’m pissed off right now because of a lie?”

“T-then why?”

“You played me.”

When did I?

I felt even more wronged.

Was Joo Seung-hyuk the kind of person who could be played?

However, because the numerous rooms I had seen earlier were still vivid in my mind, I didn’t dare argue.

Among those many rooms, which one was where Kim Joon was imprisoned? And where was the place where Lee Yeon-soo died?

“No. I never did that.”

I corrected the obsessive yandere’s words in the most polite tone possible.

“You cheated.”

“Cheated? What do you mean?”

“If that’s not cheating, then what is?”

Joo Seung-hyuk’s eyes flashed coldly.

This scene felt familiar.

In the original work, when Kim Joon tried to provide Guiding to the sub seme, Park Geon-woo, Joo Seung-hyuk had gone wild, asking if he was cheating.

But that was because Joo Seung-hyuk knew Kim Joon had feelings for the sub seme, and the obsessive yandere’s characteristic possessiveness had been triggered; I was merely a sub uke.

“That was just a part-t….”

I was about to say part-time job, but I shut my mouth.

[Seonbae Joo, that was just simple Guiding. Whether I guide Seonbae Geon-woo or not is none of your business!]

Kim Joon had spoken like that and suffered imprisonment and sexual abuse.

If I said one wrong word here, I could follow in the same footsteps as the original Kim Joon.

I wasn’t the main uke, but it didn’t hurt to be cautious.

“I’m sorry.”

Instead of saying something similar to the original Kim Joon, I bowed my head deeply and apologized unconditionally.

“Does Lee Yeon-soo keep using that ridiculous formal speech on purpose because he knows it pisses me off?”

“N-no, it’s not like that!”

The moment I shook my head violently, my nape was grabbed, and Joo Seung-hyuk’s lips collided with mine.

His tongue roughly invaded my slightly parted mouth. Cold water flowed into my mouth along with his tongue.

My body stiffened from extreme tension. Read on Read BL NovelsJoo Seung-hyuk pulled off my black hoodie and tore off unauthorized copymy white shirt [stolen content]as if ripping it. Transparent buttons scattered and fell.

I’m being devoured. I’m going to be tied to the shower and suffer all day.

As scenes from the novel came to mind, my terror reached its peak.

<The Swamp of the Guide> wasn’t just a simple 19+ novel; it was an ultra-high-level hard angst novel.

The novel’s information had a warning: ‘This novel contains elements of forced relationships, imprisonment, training, BDSM, and toy play. Please be cautious.’ And the review section was filled with terrifying comments, some calling it ‘a cozy trash can,’ leaving me unsure if they were insults or praise.

It was unfair enough that I ended up in a trash-can-like novel, but now I was about to be thrown into that trash can.

It might have been cozy for the main uke, but for me, it was no different from a freezing hell.

Tears streamed down my face. Then, Joo Seung-hyuk’s lips pulled away, and the shower water stopped.

He brushed the corner of my eye with his thumb.

“Why are you crying?”

“…….”

“Are you sad because you can’t hold hands with some other bastard?”

Every word was delivered with a gloomy undertone.

Feeling that something like the original work might actually happen, I tried to hold back my tears, but the more I did, the more my emotions intensified.

“I asked why you’re crying! Fuck! Don’t make me say the same thing twice!”

Does he hate crying, or is he angry because he had to ask the same question twice?

Regardless, I must not offend Joo Seung-hyuk any further.

“Do you hate me? Is that why you hate it when I kiss you?”

“I-it’s not that, it’s the clothes….”

“What about the clothes?”

“I borrowed this from the guild. I-if the buttons are ripped like that, I-I’ll have to pay for it….”

Since telling the truth was impossible anyway, I just made up an excuse while looking at the buttons on the floor.

“…Is that something to cry about?”

“I have to pay for the clothes, compensate for the broken door, and I-I didn’t even get my daily pay…. I need to earn money….”

At first, I just blurted out whatever came to mind, but as I kept talking, I became sorrowful.

I had planned to buy a tablet for my younger brother, Jisu, who would be a high school senior this year, once I had some breathing room in my bank account from this Guiding.

I had intended to give small gifts to my parents, Min-soo, and Kyung-soo as well, but the plan was ruined because a crazy obsessive yandere intervened.

It wasn’t just this Guiding session. Since I’d caused such a huge accident, [Read on Read BL Novels]visit our sitemy next part-time job was gone too.

Changwi paid quite generously for Guiding. Of course, it couldn’t compare to a large corporation, but among guilds of the same size, the rate was high and the settlement was fast.

Moreover, they hid my identity, and for a small guild, their Guide protection was quite excellent.

Where else could I find a part-time job like that? The more I thought about it, the bleaker my future seemed.

“Stop crying.”

I bit my lip to stop crying as Joo Seung-hyuk said, but the more I tried to resist, the more the tears flowed.

“What did you do so right to keep crying?”

“Sorry. I don’t want to cry. The buttons, the buttons….”

No matter how unfair or bleak it felt, I didn’t have the courage to blame Joo Seung-hyuk. I could only search for the innocent buttons while clutching my torn shirt.

“Fuck! I’ll start a button factory for you, so stop crying!”

Startled by the coarse swearing, I flinched and stepped back, but Joo Seung-hyuk pulled my waist toward him.

My body trembled with fear.

Joo Seung-hyuk turned on the shower again. I curled my body up, expecting ice-cold water to pour down again, but unexpectedly, a warm stream of water enveloped my entire body.

Joo Seung-hyuk patted my back. Perhaps because the touch of his hand slowly stroking down my back was unexpectedly tender, my heart calmed down in a ridiculous way.

I was essentially being held in the arms of a predator. Yet, I felt relieved, thinking he wouldn’t kill me right this second. My tears gradually subsided.

But what is he doing now…?

“Joo, Joo, Joo Seung-hyuk Esteemed Student.”

Unable to hide my bewilderment, I spoke.

“If you say ‘Esteemed Student’ one more time, I’m going to shut your mouth.”

Shut it? Is he saying he’ll cut out my tongue?

Seeing him use formal speech again, it seemed his anger had subsided a bit, but I couldn’t feel safe because of the chilling sentence.

“I won’t….”

Not just ‘Esteemed Student,’ I didn’t want to say anything at all.

However, looking at Joo Seung-hyuk’s actions, I simply couldn’t.

“But, Seung-hyuk-ah….”

“I like it when you call me by my name.”

“R-really?”

“Yes, I like it.”

“T-that’s a relief. But, why are you undoing the buttons…?”

Joo Seung-hyuk was undoing the remaining buttons of my shirt, one by one.
