“Is something wrong?”

Cheon Sa-hyun, the culprit behind that ‘something,’ asked with a look of complete ignorance, making Do Ye-jun’s stomach churn.

“Are you crazy? ‘Is something wrong?’ Of course something was wrong! Last night!”

“Last night…?”

Cheon Sa-hyun tilted his head. Do Ye-jun slid down and slipped right out of Cheon Sa-hyun’s arms. Then, he popped out from under the covers with his hair all disheveled.

He looked exactly like a cat with matted fur. Even in this situation, Cheon Sa-hyun thought he looked quite adorable.

Do Ye-jun spoke in a sharp, huffing voice.

“You, what did you do to me yesterday?”

Cheon Sa-hyun sat up. He toyed with his chin, pretending to think.

“What did I do….”

Do Ye-jun approached him with quick, knee-walking strides. He looked Cheon Sa-hyun straight in the eye and pointed to his own body.

“This, what is this?”

“What is what?”

“These clothes! What are these clothes!”

“…They’re my clothes, aren’t they?”

As if his chest were about to burst from frustration, Do Ye-jun clenched his fist and shook it in the air. Cheon Sa-hyun leaned back against the headboard and watched Do Ye-jun’s antics.

‘Ah, should I really just lock him up somewhere?’

The thought first occurred to him that if he could watch this all day, he would never be bored.

“Why am I wearing this!”

“Don’t you remember?”

“…….”

“Wow, I guess you really don’t remember.”

Having fully assessed the situation, Cheon Sa-hyun leisurely crossed his arms. This only made Do Ye-jun more anxious.

“What, what is it…. What happened? Surely not, right? Huh? Right?”

Cheon Sa-hyun’s lips curled upward as he watched Do Ye-jun tremble with anxiety.

“If I tell you, do you think you can handle it? I think it might be too hard for you….”

Cheon Sa-hyun shook his head and narrowed his eyes. Do Ye-jun scooted even closer on his knees.

His posture was completely different from before.

“What is it…. Was it really that? Really….”

Did we do it? Us?

Do Ye-jun swallowed the rest of the sentence, unable to bring himself to say it. He felt that the moment he spoke it aloud, it would become self-inflicted damage—a critical hit from which he might never recover.

He existed in a contradictory state, wanting to know the full story while simultaneously wishing he never would.

“Ha, it really upsets me that you forgot this. It’s sad, and I wonder how you could do this to me, Hyung….”

Cheon Sa-hyun turned his head away, pretending to be sad. Do Ye-jun’s lips grew bone-dry. His insides were burning even more.

“It wasn’t, right? It wasn’t…. Please, Sa-hyun. It wasn’t….”

Do Ye-jun clung to him desperately. Cheon Sa-hyun let out a deep sigh and spoke.

“It was….”

“…….”

“Hyung, you threw up yesterday.”

“……What?”

Do Ye-jun asked back with a vacant expression, like someone who had been hit in the head with a hammer.

“What did you say?”

“As soon as we got to my house yesterday, you threw up. So I had no choice.”

Do Ye-jun was silent for a long time. Then, glancing at Cheon Sa-hyun, he mumbled in a small voice.

“Sorry….”

“It’s okay. Thanks to that, I got to see something good.”

“Something good? What kind of good… ah.”

Following Cheon Sa-hyun’s gaze, Do Ye-jun looked down at his own body, and his face instantly crumpled.

“Crazy….”

Do Ye-jun hurriedly pulled the blanket over him to cover his exposed legs.

“I mean, thank you for changing my clothes! But if you were going to do that, why didn’t you put some pants on me too?”

“Why?”

“…….”

Do Ye-jun’s jaw dropped at Cheon Sa-hyun’s confident response.

No, seriously, is this guy insane?

Reading that expression perfectly, Cheon Sa-hyun burst into laughter.

“I’m joking. Your pants didn’t fit you, Hyung. They kept sliding down. So I just took them off.”

At the word ‘took them off,’ Do Ye-jun gasped.

“Wait, so that was all for yesterday? Me throwing up?”

“Why? Was there supposed to be more?”

“No, I mean, it’s a relief if there wasn’t….”

Do Ye-jun chewed on his lower lip. It would be wonderful if they could just move past this as if nothing happened, but….

The scene from his memory that had shocked him the most remained an unsolved mystery.

“I’m actually hurting here right now.”

“Where? Your butt?”

“Ack! Don’t say it like that! It just… hurts a bit here….”

Do Ye-jun glanced up at Cheon Sa-hyun with only his eyes. Cheon Sa-hyun was smiling with an unreadable expression.

“Why, why are you laughing…?”

“I wonder. Why do you think I’m laughing?”

Cheon Sa-hyun threw the question right back at him.

Having already played out a thousand different movies in his head, Do Ye-jun found the question far more terrifying than any answer could be.

“…….”

Only when Do Ye-jun looked as if he were about to burst into tears did Cheon Sa-hyun finally speak.

“You fell yesterday. Right there in front of the entrance. I told you to sit for a moment while taking off your shoes, but you insisted on going in alone and landed right on your butt. Quite spectacularly.”

“…….”

Once again, it was the result of his own drunken antics. While Do Ye-jun breathed a sigh of relief, he couldn’t bring himself to lift his head.

“……That must have been hard for you.”

“It’s fine. Anyway, I think your butt might be bruised, let me see.”

Cheon Sa-hyun straightened his upper body and reached out toward Do Ye-jun. Do Ye-jun recoiled in horror.

“W-what are you looking at…! ……Uh, whoa!”

In the process, he slipped on the blanket and almost slid right off [stolen contentRead on Read BL Novelsstyle="font-size:0;position:absolute;left:-9999px;">]the bed, but Cheon Sa-hyun managed to catch him just in time.

“I can’t take my eyes off you for a single second.”

“……Sorry.”

Do Ye-jun struggled to climb back onto the bed.

“It’s obvious what you were worried about, so don’t worry. We haven’t done it yet.”

Cheon Sa-hyun tidied up Do Ye-jun’s disheveled clothes.

“Or, were you expecting something?”

“W-what? Expecting? Me? No? Absolutely not!”

Do Ye-jun waved his hands in denial with suspicious intensity.

“If we had done it, you wouldn’t have woken up at this hour, Hyung.”

With those words, Cheon Sa-hyun entered the bathroom, saying he was going to wash up, leaving Do Ye-jun frozen on the bed like he had been nailed down.

“What did he just… say? He’s, he’s crazy….”

Do Ye-jun recalled.

The keywords attached to Cheon Sa-hyun in the novel The Angel’s Mask Does Not Smile.

Chaebol, schemer, obsessive… and man of peerless sexual prowess.

The moment he remembered, he wanted to scrub his brain clean. He resented himself for why that particular keyword had to come to mind at this exact timing.

And in the midst of all this, why did his tailbone—the part he’d injured from falling—hurt so much?

‘No, why did I misunderstand in the first place? If we had done that, it wouldn’t be the bone that hurts…!’

Thwack.

Do Ye-jun hit his own head with his fist. His thoughts were drifting toward strange places again.

With a miserable face, he muttered to himself.

“Is my brain rotting…. No, this is all Cheon Sa-hyun’s fault.”

He felt embarrassed that he had let his nerves get so frayed over nothing, spinning a thousand fantasies.

From Cheon Sa-hyun’s perspective, how funny must he have looked? Waking up in such a fuss, demanding to know what had happened….

And yet, all he had actually done last night was throw up and fall over.

On top of that, Cheon Sa-hyun had changed his clothes and supported him.

He had almost grabbed an innocent man by the collar.

Furthermore, because he had said those [[Read on Read BL Novels]class="wm" style="opacity:0;font-size:1px;user-select:all;">visit [stolen content]our site]unnecessary things…… he had needlessly provoked Cheon Sa-hyun.

Do Ye-jun slammed his head against the headboard.

And leaving Do Ye-jun behind, Cheon Sa-hyun, who had entered the bathroom, recalled the events of last night—the ones that had vanished from Do Ye-jun’s memory.

At the point where the drinking party was in full swing and the drunken Do Ye-jun’s body began to sway from side to side, Cheon Sa-hyun leisurely followed Do Ye-jun’s movements with his eyes.

“By the way, Hyung.”

“What.”

“Why did you do that last time?”

“Do what?”

“You were shouting from your studio window about how you were going to return or something.”

Do Ye-jun set his glass down with a thud and let out a deep sigh. He looked, by all accounts, like a completely intoxicated person. Cheon Sa-hyun unauthorized copythought now was visit our sitethe perfect time to find out Do Ye-jun’s true feelings. He asked casually.

“Was it because you were drunk on wine back then?”

“……I definitely wasn’t sober, but I wasn’t completely blacked out.”

“You were even waving something like a white cloth.”

“……You know quite a lot of detail, don’t you? It seems you didn’t just hear about it from Mr. Moon.”

“Yes. I received a video.”

“What the fuck! Are you crazy? Where is it? Give it to me right now!”

Cheon Sa-hyun watched Do Ye-jun’s arms flailing in front of him. Whether it was because of the alcohol or a surge of embarrassment, Do Ye-jun’s face was flushed bright red. The hem of Do Ye-jun’s t-shirt brushed precariously against the grill. Cheon Sa-hyun reached out to stop Do Ye-jun from leaning across the table.

“What are you doing? This is dangerous.”

Cheon Sa-hyun spoke firmly in a sharp [Read on Read unauthorized copyBL Novels]Read on Read BL Novels -->voice. Only then did Do Ye-jun’s momentum subside, and he sat back down with a pout.

“I mean, why would anyone film and send something like that? Isn’t that an invasion of privacy?”

“What privacy do you have, Hyung?”

Do Ye-jun looked up at Cheon Sa-hyun with a vacant expression. Cheon Sa-hyun looked down at him, his brow furrowing slightly.

“You’re dreaming.”

Cheon Sa-hyun muttered with a slight hint of a smile in his tone. It wasn’t a threat. He was reciting it lightly, as if stating an obvious fact.
