As the long whistle sounded, the piled-up trash began to vibrate and shake, and one by one, pieces started falling to the floor. Then, from the center of the dismantled debris, a single drum can appeared—completely out of place amidst the ruins of the abandoned building. Dark red bloodstains stained the tightly sealed lid.

“The body found in the drum is said to be Manager Park’s mistress. Manager Park confessed everything in the interrogation room. He claimed he killed her accidentally during a fight.”

The low-ranking administrative staff member explaining this to Won-woo and Gye Yoon was beyond polite; he was pale with tension. Unable to even look Gye Yoon in the eye, he cautiously asked Won-woo, who seemed like the easier target.
