Since she was the Othergod I had analyzed most diligently before the Mothergod Fanatics proliferated, I couldn’t help but feel a lingering sense of regret.

Mother Aellusia, one of the Othergods available for contract in Conclude, isn’t that unusual based on her description. As an ‘Othergod’ who governs evolution and mutation, she can prey on living beings to obtain biological data, which she then uses to create more powerful Units or evolve existing ones.

It’s a setting similar to the space monsters found in sci-fi.

Immediately after Conclude was released, most strategy guides consisted of tables shared by players discussing which creatures provided the most useful data and which combinations were the most efficient when playing as Mother Aellusia.

Back then, searching for Mother Aellusia only brought up content about how centipedes were good, ants were decent, or that you absolutely had to eat cockroaches.

There were memes mocking them, saying [Typical Mothergod players: Compare nutritional values and then grill a cockroach instead of Hanwoo beef], but not many people cared.

Then, a certain strategy post was uploaded.

Amidst this trend, players appeared who were dedicated to something slightly different.
