Dane swept back his wet hair as he walked across the shower room floor, the sound of his wet footsteps echoing. He hadn’t noticed anyone else until he lifted his head with a tired sigh. And then, defenseless, he met Grayson Miller’s eyes, who had been waiting for him. Dane’s brow immediately furrowed.
“What is this.”
Grayson opened his mouth again at Dane’s blunt question. Seeing him struggle to say something, Dane waited, his brow furrowed. But Grayson didn’t continue. His eyes were fixed on Dane’s chest, unmoving.
4.
In the silence, only the sound of water droplets falling from the showerhead echoed rhythmically, drip, drip. Grayson stared blankly at Dane’s chest, not even blinking.
Had he ever seen such perfect breasts?
The moderately full flesh filled the chest area completely. The pink nipples were just the right size, and the small areolae drew a perfect circle. The breasts, hanging lusciously above a perfectly sculpted six-pack, were enough to make his mouth water just by looking at them. How could such beautiful and attractive breasts exist?
Grayson rubbed his eyes with his arms and blinked a few times. But it was still there. That perfect, chest.
Grayson’s stomach churned, and his lower body hardened. He blinked blankly. The words he was about to say evaporated, and only Dane’s chest remained in his mind.
That perfect,
chest
.
Meanwhile, Dane felt uncomfortable seeing Grayson just staring down silently. At any other time, he would have ignored him as a ridiculous guy and walked away, but he couldn’t now. The reason was clear. He had seen an unexpected side of Grayson.
Even if Grayson did something stupid again, it would be the same. He couldn’t easily think of melting this guy’s brain with Pheromones and running away like before. Again, the reason was the same.
It was unwanted and unexpected, but what was done was done. Dane knew, and because of that, he had to act accordingly.
Hoo, Dane let out a long sigh. As he took a deep breath in and out, his luscious chest rose and fell once. Grayson’s eyes captured every moment of that wonderful sight without missing a beat.
“If you have something to say, I’ll listen anytime, but go back today. I’m too tired to wait today.”
Dane, speaking in an uncharacteristic calm tone, moved his body and went outside. He didn’t forget to lightly tap Grayson’s arm as if to encourage him as he passed by. And he bent down behind Grayson, who was still frozen, grabbed the clothes he had taken off at the entrance, and walked away.
The sound of splashing wet footsteps faded away. Grayson belatedly turned his head, but Dane had already disappeared. Still recalling the chest that lingered before his eyes, he stood blankly, when suddenly a fact he had forgotten came to his mind.
Yes, that perfect
chest
.
He thought so back then too. He would never see such a wonderful chest again.
Back then? When?
…Back then.
Suddenly, Grayson realized. He had completely forgotten about the Dominant Omega he had been looking for so desperately. Surprisingly, what had filled his mind instead was that man.
Dane Striker.
His heart was greatly shaken by the sudden realization. He was at a loss as to how to accept this fact.
He had forgotten the destined partner he had been searching for his whole life? It was everything to his life, so how could he completely forget about their existence? How could someone else occupy his mind? And so completely?
“There’s no way.”
Grayson covered his face with one hand and rubbed it roughly, muttering without confidence. There was no way Dane Striker was an Omega. He was such a plausible Beta male. For him, so full of testosterone, to be an Omega was absurd. Clearly, something must be wrong with his head. Yes, there was only one reason.
“…Pheromones.”
He muttered from under his hand.
“I need to get rid of them.”
Once he made up his mind, he didn’t hesitate. Grayson turned around without any further regrets and went outside. As he drove the car he had left parked on the road, he was convinced. It could never be that man.
Desire Me if you can
Could it really not be?
As he handed the car keys to the valet parking attendant and entered the mansion, Grayson fell into deep thought.
There’s no way there could be another chest so perfect, right? That size, that round line, that enormous chest that was so firm and elastic at a glance, could there be another one in the world? No way!
All he remembered was the fact that he had seen a really wonderful chest. He didn’t remember the shape or color at all, but only that was strongly etched in his mind. And the most wonderful chest he had ever seen in his life, the chest he was sure he would never see again, was Dane Striker’s.
‘Are the breasts big?’
It was when he suddenly recalled the words he had asked the fortune teller.
“Grayson! It’s been so long!”
As soon as Grayson appeared in the hall, the host, who spotted him, beamed and spread his arms wide. The host, gesturing a full-body welcome, smiled brightly and scanned Grayson from head to toe.
“How have you been? Why haven’t I seen you all this time!”
At the light scolding, Grayson looked at the host, pretending to search his memory, and replied.
“Has it been that long? I went to the last party.”
He was referring to the orgy party disguised as a Pheromone Party. The host glanced sideways and scolded Grayson.
“You didn’t come to my party! I’ve been waiting so long.”
“Sorry, sorry. I’ve been a little busy lately.”
As he apologized with a smile, the host tilted his head and looked up at Grayson. Everyone in the world knew that Grayson was just playing around. Grayson lightly replied to the host, who was openly questioning what a jobless person like him could be so busy with.
“I got a job as a firefighter.”
“What? A firefighter? How did that happen? Come to think of it, you’re alone? Why don’t you have a partner?”
He was so surprised that he raised his voice and asked one question after another. The people around him, hearing his voice, looked at them with surprised faces. Grayson lightly brushed it off.
“I just wanted to try it. I don’t have anyone special these days, so isn’t that why I came here?”
When he gave the answers to all the questions at once, the host nodded with a bewildered face, saying, “I see.” He didn’t look convinced, but he didn’t intend to drag it out any longer. Grayson deliberately looked around the hall past the host and said.
“Then I should go and achieve the purpose I came to the party for… It was nice to see you, it’s a good party.”
After giving the formulaic greeting, Grayson walked towards the middle of the chaos. Then, as if waiting for him, another man approached the host and spoke to him.
“Grayson is a firefighter? Did I really hear that right?”
“That’s what I’m saying, I’m doubting my ears right now. You all heard it too, right?”
At the question asking around to the others, they nodded here and there. The host once again looked in the direction where Grayson had disappeared and muttered.
“What kind of change of heart is this all of a sudden?”
