Pulling a limp person out of the water was no easy feat. The strength with which Jin-su's grandmother gripped my hand in fear was beyond my imagination, and I struggled more than I expected. I pulled her up with every ounce of strength I had.

During the process, my hand slipped once, forcing me to let go of the iron stake I was holding and grab the grandmother instead. Thanks to the momentum of the pull, I managed to heave her upward. The problem, however, was me. At the same moment I practically threw her up, my own body lurched downward, and I plunged into the water in an instant.

The moment I fell, the grandmother screamed in shock and tried to grab me, but it was useless. As if on cue, a crashing wave swept over me, sending me plummeting into the depths of the sea. It happened so quickly that I didn't even have time to resist. I couldn't even tell if I was in the ocean or somewhere else.
