Joo Min-hyeok did the dishes, blended fruit, wiped down the tables, and even chased away the occasional person making mindless jokes. After helping for about an hour, Joo Min-hyeok left with Hyun-wook, as he had another appointment.
He didn't just leave; seeing the rain fall, he claimed he didn't have an umbrella and borrowed one of mine. I had seen an umbrella in the hands of the attendant outside... but I didn't bother asking why he was borrowing one. I felt that since he had worked for me all this time, I could at least lend him an umbrella.
Fiddling with the umbrella I handed him, Joo Min-hyeok said he would come back and help again if I was busy. He was far too high-caliber of personnel for me to ever actually call him for help again, but it didn't feel bad. Soon, the tourists returned to their ships and Hyun-wook left with Joo Min-hyeok, leaving the cafe so deserted it was as if it had never been busy. The rain continued to pour in fits and starts, and the wind grew stronger.
