The wedding proceeded with solemnity and elegance. Eun-won was incredibly nervous knowing so many people were watching, but thanks to Cha Se-jin, who held his hand from the moment they entered—except for the brief moments they were apart—Eun-won was able to get through it safely.
After completing all the procedures, as they slowly marched out while facing the guests for the last time, a thunderous roar of applause filled the hall. Eun-won smiled at his friends who were cheering and clapping loudly, giving them a light wave. Seeing this, Cha Se-jin leaned in and whispered into Eun-won’s ear.
“Once we reach the end, we have to kiss.”
Cha Se-jin pointed toward the end of the aisle and smiled, seeing Eun-won look tense once again. He really did enjoy teasing him.
However, if he played pranks too obviously on a day like this, he would certainly get an earful from the parents. Pretending to be poised, Cha Se-jin gave the guests polite nods of greeting and walked slowly, keeping pace with Eun-won.
As they reached the end of the path, the photographer, who had been capturing photos and videos throughout the ceremony, requested a kiss. Cha Se-jin stood facing Eun-won. A single petal, which had been fluttering gently throughout the march, landed on Eun-won’s shoulder.
Between the white petals, Eun-won’s face as he looked up was beautiful. Recalling how everyone’s gaze had converged and gasps of admiration had erupted when Eun-won first entered the hall, Cha Se-jin smiled and tilted his head.
As their lips pressed lightly together, the sound of cameras clicking echoed from all directions. Eun-won, who had his eyes tightly shut in nervousness as Cha Se-jin’s lips touched his, recalled the moment of their first kiss. He knew it wasn’t the time—or that he shouldn’t—be thinking about it, but he remembered how Se-jin had pushed relentlessly into his mouth, warming his breath and rubbing everywhere, causing the tips of his toes to curl inside his shoes.
Naturally, Cha Se-jin’s lips touched and parted politely, without any intrusion. Feeling the warmth that matched the polite, heavy atmosphere of the ceremony—one that didn’t even reach the level of heat—Eun-won realized.
That kiss two days ago at the hotel, where Se-jin had pushed in until he was breathless, was by no means a practice for today.

The elevator stopped with a chime, announcing it had arrived at the suite on the top floor. As he stepped out, following Cha Se-jin who naturally led him by the hand, a different kind of tension than the one felt at the wedding filled his heart.
After exiting the elevator and walking a bit further inside, a single door appeared. It seemed as if there was only one room on this floor. Standing before it, Cha Se-jin took out the key card.
“…….”
The sound of the key card touching the door, the sound of the heavy door opening, the fingers intertwined through every moment, and the silent hallway where only their breathing could be heard—unlike the wedding hall filled with the sounds of countless people.
Eun-won looked up blankly at Cha Se-jin beside him and stepped into the room, unable to shake off the mounting tension.
“Now that we’re inside, it finally feels like it’s over. Ah, there were way too many people.”
Only after they were completely inside did their intertwined fingers release. Cha Se-jin, unbuttoning the suit he had worn for the second part of the wedding, flopped onto the sofa and gestured to Eun-won. Eun-won sat down beside him, leaving a small distance.
“You’re tired, aren’t you?”
“A little.”
“You worked hard. Wow, how do people do this a second or third time? Do you remember that Chairman who does the shipbuilding business? The one in that weird purple suit. I heard that man has been married six times.”
“Six times…?”
“Yeah. I’d be too embarrassed to even have a ceremony, but he prints and sends out invitations every single time. He married an omega around thirty years younger than him again last year. He was here earlier.”
The person in the weird purple suit Cha Se-jin mentioned was the same man who had held Eun-won’s hand earlier and said that if he had known the man had a son like this, he would have taken his time with his remarriage. The unpleasantness from that moment began to creep back up. Eun-won instinctively clenched his empty hand, putting pressure on his fingers.
“I think you greeted him earlier.”
“…Yes…. He’s an important person where my father works… so I was told I must greet him.”
Cha Se-jin, who had been watching Eun-won clench and unclench his hand while looking down, tilted his head.
“Did something happen?”
“…Huh?”
“Your expression isn’t great. What did that old man say? It’s okay, you can tell me. He’s famous for being like that.”
“……He made some jokes… that were a bit hard to hear….”
“What the hell did he babble?”
Hesitating because the words weren’t easy to say aloud, Eun-won took a deep breath and told Cha Se-jin what he had heard. Upon hearing it, Cha Se-jin’s face clouded with disgust.
“Ah, fuck.”
Overwhelmed by a surge of irritation and loathing, Cha Se-jin looked up, closed his eyes for a moment, and then looked at Eun-won.
“You weren’t alone there, were you, Darling?”
“…….”
“The Chairman and the Madam just let that happen even after hearing all that? Fuck, I’d be pissed even if they shoved that bastard’s dick down his own throat, but they just let him in?”
Looking at Cha Se-jin’s genuinely irritated face, Eun-won let out a small laugh. Even thinking about it again, it wasn’t something to laugh at, but because Cha Se-jin was getting angry with such aggressive words, the unpleasantness of the earlier incident lost its power and crumbled away in his mind.
“I’ll wreck him. He has no leverage against my family anyway. Fuck, who the hell does he think he is. I’ll make sure his seventh wedding is a funeral wedding so he can finally shut up and live.”
Watching the fuming Cha Se-jin, Eun-won gathered his courage and reached out. However, because he didn’t extend his hand far, his fingertips only barely touched the edge of Cha Se-jin’s suit draped over the sofa.
“From now on, if something like that happens, tell me immediately. I’ll wreck them right away. I know you’re not that kind of person, but you still have to tell me. Treating you carelessly is the same as treating me carelessly, and by extension, it’s the same as treating my family carelessly.”
“…Yes. I will.”
“Even without going that far, there’s no need to listen to that kind of talk. It feels bad.”
Feeling sorry that Cha Se-jin seemed to be in a worse mood than he was, Eun-won nodded to show he understood. Only then did Cha Se-jin calm his excitement, lightly stroking Eun-won’s fingers resting on the fabric of his clothes as he asked.
“I feel like this conversation could go on for a while, so shall we wash up and eat something first? You haven’t eaten anything all day.”
“Yes, I’d like that.”
“I’m too lazy to go out, so let’s order room service.”
Picking up the tablet PC on the table, Cha Se-jin flipped through the room service menu one by one, showing it to Eun-won and adding everything Eun-won seemed interested in.
After ordering a feast of steak, cream pasta, signature burgers, french fries, shrimp fried tteokbokki, galbitang, a grilled rib course, and plenty of desserts, Cha Se-jin stood up and took off his suit jacket.
“Use the inner bathroom. I’ll use the one by the living room.”
“Okay….”
“Ah, we’re married now, should we just wash together?”
“…What? Ah, no…. I’m okay. Uh… then I’ll wash inside…!”
Cha Se-jin let out a laugh-filled breath at the sight of Eun-won scurrying away into the room before he could even respond, and he headed toward the bathroom while unbuttoning his shirt. He had been pretending to be nice all day, wearing a smile longer than he had in his entire life, to the point where the corners of his mouth actually hurt.
Pressing his mouth with his hand, Cha Se-jin entered the bathroom naked and checked his face in the mirror. Perhaps because he had only had a simple protein-based lunch yesterday and nothing but a few sips of water since then, his face looked even more sensitive. Cha Se-jin liked this sharp look of his—the kind of face that looked like your life would be fucked if you dared to touch him.
“Ah, how should I wreck that fucking bastard.”
He absolutely could not let it slide that someone had the audacity to come to a wedding—not just any wedding, but his own—and spout such words to Eun-won, the person he was marrying.
While debating whether it would be better to make the shipbuilding business fail so the man would have to leave the country by boat, or to kindly leak the disgusting details of his six previous marriages to the press, Cha Se-jin remembered the upcoming anniversary party for Kang Seo-hoo’s company. Since the man loved attending every party possible with a new marriage partner on his arm, he would certainly appear there.
After all, a meltdown is best done while looking the person in the face.
Thinking about how that old face would turn pale at his outburst made him feel a bit better. He couldn’t spend his wedding night miserably because of a bastard like that, so he decided to push that man’s turn to the back of the queue for now.
Having quickly recovered his mood, Cha Se-jin stepped into the shower booth and stood under the pouring water. As the stream of water, at a temperature somewhere between warm and hot, hit him, his exhausted body finally began to relax.
