“Why is the Boss…?”
His heart thumped for no reason. The moment he saw him, he couldn’t hold onto his heart, which wavered like a reed.
Even now, even in this situation, he was so happy to see the man again. Eun-myeong’s round cheeks puffed out. He couldn’t hide his joy, and his eyes even sparkled slightly.
Did he come to see me? If he came all the way here to find me and waited for me… A hope as small as a seed swelled and planted itself in his stomach. Eun-myeong tried to suppress the corners of his mouth, which kept curling upward.
But.
“Your trash.”
That expectation was shattered far too easily.
“Pardon…?”
As Eun-myeong asked back, the cigarette ember flew away. The man approached, his shadow swelling large like a goblin, and violently snatched Eun-myeong’s forearm.
“You have to take your trashy luggage, baby.”
He muttered as if chewing the words. He spoke as if dredging up his voice from deep in his throat like groundwater. The desolate hallway echoed low.
“Luggage….”
Only then did Eun-myeong realize.
His purpose was nothing more than telling him to take the luggage left at the hotel. Furthermore, he described his belongings as “trash” again.
…Well, that’s probably why he burned down his own house so nonchalantly. I’m disappointed in this man once again.
As much as he had been filled with anticipation, his heart burst—pop!—as if pierced deeply by a needle. Eun-myeong felt an indescribable bitterness.
Of course. In the end, it turned out like this again. Once he realized the reality, he felt miserable. He looked truly, utterly pathetic.
How… embarrassing…
Eun-myeong shrank his body. He was so embarrassed he wanted to die.
The T-shirt he was wearing fluttered over his thin frame like a flag. Under the cheerful words “Happy Happy Dog,” a childish puppy character was drawn in large print.
To make matters worse, his face was riddled with bee stings. His face was a mess, as if he had been beaten painfully with fists, and he hadn’t even cleared the sleep from his eyes. He had eaten plenty of chicken at night, so his mouth was probably incredibly greasy.
Why of all times…?
Why did it have to be when he looked like such a foolish and ugly mess…? Feeling so wretched and embarrassed, he wanted to find a mouse hole and hide in it immediately.
He didn’t mind showing this side to others, but he wanted to show a better version of himself to the man.
“And then I come here only to find you in a place like this…. Your bottom hole must have been bored without me, baby. Well, you must have enjoyed eating it so well.”
The man scrutinized Eun-myeong with his eyes. Up close, his eyes were unbelievably red.
He had a ravenous look, as if he hadn’t slept for days, or perhaps as if he had been starving for days. It felt as if his raw power would crush bones.
His jaw, which had always been sharp as if carved with a chisel, now dropped at an even steeper angle, looking sharp enough to pierce an apple, and his brow and cheekbones stood out even more prominently.
A much more wild and rough atmosphere emanated from him gloomily. Had he lost weight?
Eun-myeong had always wondered how he maintained that body. However, looking at his food intake, it was immediately understandable. He was someone who always ate plenty of meat and rice…. Had he been skipping meals? It pained him, but before that, the grip tightening around him was too excessive.
“It hurts, Boss. …Let go of me!”
Eun-myeong stamped his feet frantically. At this rate, he felt like he would become meat clinging to a bone. He struggled with all his might, pulling his captured arm, begging him to let go, to stop holding him. Yet, since other people would be sleeping, he couldn’t make a loud noise and forced himself to stifle his breath.
“If you’re going to resist, do it properly. Didn’t I tell you to at least break my head?”
The man’s eyes slowly scanned Eun-myeong’s lower abdomen and settled on his groin. His legs, thin as a bird’s, were shaking wildly. He was trembling, unable to withstand the man’s strength.
“You usually can’t walk properly after getting fucked, right?”
He let out a smirk, as if it wasn’t even funny.
“Or was it not thick enough that you don’t even feel that aching sensation?”
Huh? he asked back. The tone was indeed the one Eun-myeong knew, but the content flowing out was so vile that he didn’t want to hear it.
He wanted to cover his ears, but he couldn’t move his arms at all. The man had never once exerted 100% of his strength against him before. His forearm was gripped so painfully that he could do nothing.
“How about it? Want to go have a filthy round with Mister?”
The man parted his lips and stuck out his tongue. With a flick, he licked up Eun-myeong’s cheek.
The tongue pushed through the bumps caused by the bee stings and licked the skin clean. The soft peach fuzz, unable to move, became filthily wet and clung to the skin.
“I missed you so much I almost went crazy while we were apart; I suppose you felt the same. Since the bed that was always heated was empty.”
He muttered like a sigh. The breath he exhaled closely was excessively hot. Eun-myeong shrank back, feeling as if he would be burned.
He had wanted to hear that he was missed, that he was longed for, but absolutely not in this manner. Eun-myeong swallowed his sobs.
“Why did you appear before me again like this….”
Why are you making me so miserable? he wanted to ask. But the man seemed to have no intention of listening to Eun-myeong’s words.
He simply glared with wide, frightening eyes. Red capillaries were spread across his pupils like a spiderweb. He grinned like a clown, looking exactly like a psycho.
“Even when I woke up from sleep, I had no vessel to empty my piss into, so my body was so lonely.”
And the words that flowed out. They were unimaginably vulgar, crude, and cheap.
“…Lowlife!”
Eun-myeong trembled and condemned him. His eyes were wet with indignation.
How could he possibly utter such words? He had always had a foul mouth, but this was truly too much.
Eun-myeong had also longed for the man for several nights on his lonely blanket.
But it wasn’t a vulgar, cheap feeling at all. I didn’t miss you with that kind of feeling.
He remembered the moments they lay together, locking eyes, playing with fingers, and wiggling his toes against the man’s ankle. The times they pressed their skin together and shared body heat. To him, every single one was a precious and lovely memory.
“Whether it was semen or piss, you used to flip your eyes back in pleasure when I shot it all inside you….”
The man sighed as if it had been fantastic.
How could he speak like a pervert in that way? Was their relationship really nothing more than that? Eun-myeong felt utterly devastated.
“Boss, you’re a real pervert. Even though you’re so many years older than me!”
He now understood why he felt so unfair at every moment. When he put himself and the man on a scale, the weight leaned too heavily toward the other side, and then Eun-myeong would shoot upward, suffering from endless fear.
He thought it was a deficiency stemming from having no money, no background, and no great education.
Looking back now, that wasn’t it. It was purely the weight of the heart. If the man on the other side of the scale suddenly left him, Eun-myeong would plummet! Down into an endless abyss.
Because the man did not love him as much as he loved the man.
The man yanked the forearm he was gripping roughly. Eun-myeong struggled wildly to resist, but it was useless. The difference in strength was enormous from the start.
He forcibly dragged Eun-myeong’s arm and eventually pinned Eun-myeong’s body against his side.
“I always carve things I consider mine into the body.”
The sinister words echoed through the folds of his brain as if every single character was being imprinted.
“The spiders I raised as a child, the flowers I crushed because they were pretty, hm?”
And here, right here….
The man’s large hand touched his side. He stroked up the ribs. He firmly massaged the Jajeonghyang carved there, one by one. The muscle was so supple and firm that it didn’t massage easily, but the man applied force as if he were going to bunch it up and crush it.
“Let go of me.”
Worried that it might hurt, Eun-myeong struggled even more, but it was no use.
“Should I cover it up with some other bitch?”
The man spoke.
It felt as if his vision was burning black.
Eun-myeong still remembered the beat of his heart. He remembered the explosion of his heart when the man said that what was embedded there was his pheromone. It felt as if a giant elephant had stepped on his heart….
But the man made even that moment a joke. It felt as if his spinal bones were breaking, and sharp bone fragments were poking Eun-myeong’s heart.
“Should I cover it up pitch-black with something else?”
As if it would be fine to cover it with new ink. Sending a mocking gaze, speaking in a jeering tone.
“You tell me.”
The man cornered Eun-myeong. Pushing him as if whipping him with words, it felt as if Eun-myeong had a vast, distant sea in front of him and a cliff behind him. It felt as if the ground beneath his feet would simply vanish.
“I told you to speak.”
He even urged him so spitefully. So cruelly…. It felt as if his vision went blank.
I hate him. I feel like I could die from hating him. Even in the moment he told himself to forget, really forget, he had missed the man…. He really wanted to see him, and in the end, it turned out like this again.
As if possessed, Eun-myeong parted his lips. His lips, glistening with chicken grease, made a wet, smacking sound.
“Do it.”
The vacant voice pierced through the dawn.
“What?”
“…Do, do it.”
He didn’t know how the man could nibble away at his love like prey.
“I don’t love you anymore.”
I won’t. I want to stop tearing my own heart apart. Do you think I enjoy this kind of self-harm?
“I hate you now, Boss.”
He meant it. Eun-myeong glared.
“I-I hate you more, more than a passing stray dog.”
