Playing a God-tier Game, Gone Godly, Goddamn!
Synopsis
Ah, why did I waste my life on a game like this?
Why did I keep saying I'd quit because it was too toxic, yet never actually do it?
Is that why I'm being punished? For playing a game like this?
A game where you become the leader of a cult with a cult-like following.
[Conclude: Apostle of the Othergod]
I was a veteran of that game.
I had quit because I grew disgusted by the other users, But 'Happiness'—who remained impossible to clear no matter what—stayed as a lingering regret.
Then, I received an update notification for 'Conclude'…
With a sliver of hope that it might finally be possible to clear Happiness, I logged into the game.
[Happiness: …My evangelist.]
[Happiness: You are the first being of your kind.]
[SYSTEM: ‘Happiness’ grants you a hidden trait.]
[SYSTEM: An amazing achievement! You have seduced an ‘Othergod’ through conversation alone!]
The joy of potentially being the first person in the world to clear ‘Happiness’ was short-lived.
[Mother Aellusia: No matter who you chose, I will find you.]
[Mother Aellusia: And I will be with you.]
“Wait, what is this? Why the horror direction?”
[SYSTEM: ‘Mother Aellusia’ forcibly summons you to the Dark Realm.]
…And so, I was dragged into a game about becoming a cult leader.
However, surprisingly, the biggest problem wasn't that I was a cult leader.
[‘Happy Cult Evangelist (??)’ : serf]
“I'm… a serf?”
