228 – TIO Side Story 5

“Are… are you leaving already?”

Without realizing it, Seo Yi-kyung grabbed Han Seung-jae’s sleeve. As Han Seung-jae looked down at the spot, Seo Yi-kyung slowly let go of the shirt. The fabric remained slightly peaked where he had pulled it.

“If you could stay a bit longer…”

…that would be nice. The last part of the sentence crumbled on Seo Yi-kyung’s tongue. It was because Han Seung-jae’s cold eyes were drawing closer.

Seo Yi-kyung unconsciously held his breath. Han Seung-jae approached him and tilted his head.

However, there was a limit to holding one’s breath. As Seo Yi-kyung took a shallow breath, the scent of white sandalwood clinging to Han Seung-jae’s suit hit the tip of his nose intensely.

Han Seung-jae tilted his head slightly.

“I was actually going to suggest we take a walk, if you were worried.”

“……!”

Seo Yi-kyung quietly bit his lower lip. Beyond embarrassment, he felt ashamed. He felt a violent urge to slam his head onto the table and pull the blanket tightly over himself.

Heat rushed to Seo Yi-kyung’s cheeks. They flushed a deep red, making his complexion look healthy, and the color spread all the way to his ears. Han Seung-jae reached out as he watched this.

“Looking at it now, this room is a bit too narrow for two people to walk around in.”

Han Seung-jae wrapped his fingers around Seo Yi-kyung’s slender chin and lifted it. The lower lip that Seo Yi-kyung had been biting just moments ago parted slightly.

“Well, there are various ways to make one forget their worries.”

Han Seung-jae lightly sucked on Seo Yi-kyung’s lower lip. Soon, he pushed the soft tip of his tongue inside the lip membrane, which had opened like a delicious piece of fruit.

Closing his eyes, Seo Yi-kyung raised his hands. He placed his palms against Han Seung-jae’s chest. It was a feeble force, hardly enough to be called a gesture of pushing away. Above all, Han Seung-jae was not the kind of man to be pushed back by such a thing.

As the kiss deepened, Seo Yi-kyung’s pale fingertips curled, clutching the vest.

“Nngh…”

When Han Seung-jae pulled his lips away, a long strand of saliva stretched between them before snapping. He licked Seo Yi-kyung’s moist, slick lower lip with his tongue.

“Has your tongue work improved a bit?”

It sounded like a compliment, but Seo Yi-kyung didn’t have the strength to answer.

“Haa…”

“Still, you’ll need to practice a bit more.”

After confirming that Seo Yi-kyung was breathing, Han Seung-jae kissed him again. He pressed his tongue against the tender inside of the cheek, scraped the roof of the mouth, and traced the neat line of teeth.

Seo Yi-kyung’s captured chin was tilted upward. His Adam’s apple trembled. His lips were not just pressed, but practically swallowed.

Because Han Seung-jae kissed him relentlessly, leaving him barely enough room to breathe, there was no space for worry to enter Seo Yi-kyung’s mind. He felt as if his lips were drenched and his brain was melting into mush because of the man before him.

It was late at night.

After shifting his body a couple of times on the hospital bed, Seo Yi-kyung opened his eyelids. Han Seung-jae, leaning against the head of the opposite bed, was looking into a tablet PC. A faint light rested upon his features.

‘Ah, this isn’t home.’

Every time he woke up from a nap, the fact that he was in a hospital hit him anew.

Suddenly, Han Seung-jae looked over. Seeing that Seo Yi-kyung was awake, he asked.

“Can’t you sleep?”

Han Seung-jae pressed a button to turn on the light. The dim room rapidly became bright.

“I slept a bit.”

He couldn’t tell how much time had passed.

“The bed is just so terrible.”

This is why I didn’t send him to the hospital in advance. Han Seung-jae set the tablet PC down on the bed. The attending physician had urged him to move Seo Yi-kyung to the hospital for safety early on, but he had firmly refused. Considering he had already equipped his home with medical equipment, there was no reason to stay in a hospital. It was enough for the physician to visit his house morning and evening.

However, Seo Yi-kyung was not as sensitive about his sleeping arrangements as Han Seung-jae.

But Han Seung-jae was different. The bed, the pillow, and the neatly folded blanket showed no signs of having been used. To him, everything in this hospital room must have been insufficient and lacking.

‘And yet, he didn’t go home.’

He hadn’t even imagined that Han Seung-jae would stay at the hospital with him. No, when he was injured before, Han Seung-jae had been in the room too.

For some reason, Han Seung-jae’s eyes, which usually seemed several times colder, felt a bit softer today. Perhaps it was because he was complaining about something as trivial as a bed. Just as Seo Yi-kyung was about to unconsciously smile, his expression suddenly distorted.

“Ha, ugh.”

Seo Yi-kyung slid his hand under the blanket [unauthorized unauthorized copycopy]and clutched his stomach. Han Seung-jae rose from the bed and approached him.

“S-Seu… Seung…”

Seo Yi-kyung tried to tell him that he was feeling a pain different from the usual fetal movements, but his lips trembled so much that he couldn’t even call his name properly. His breathing became ragged as a surge of intense pain hit him.

“Open your mouth and take deep breaths.”

Han Seung-jae grabbed Seo Yi-kyung’s chin and forced his lips open.

As if the only person he could trust was the one before him, Seo Yi-kyung nodded repeatedly while clutching his stomach tightly. Something began to flow between his legs.

Outside Haseon Hospital.

Secretary Park, who had been waiting in the car, took his phone out of his inner pocket.

Vibrate—

Though it was past 2 AM, there was a person who would contact him without any regard for the time.

“Yes, I’ll head up right now.”

After finishing the call with the nurse who had contacted him under the physician’s instructions, Secretary Park opened the car door.

He hurried his steps into the hospital.

“Director Han.”

Han Seung-jae, standing in the hospital corridor, didn’t even look at him. Only Butler Do, who was clutching his hands with an anxious face as if prayer was all he could do, looked back with a desperate gaze.

It was fortunate that the birth aligned exactly with the due date the physician had predicted, but it was nine hours later that Seo Yi-kyung finally returned to the room.

…Even though noon had passed, Seo Yi-kyung still had his eyes closed, his face pale. Even his lips had lost their color, turning a bluish hue.

Perhaps from how much he had bitten and chewed them throughout the night, his lips were [visit our site]style="font-size:0;color:transparent;display:inline;">visit our sitechapped and spotted with blood.

Knock, knock. After a faint knock, the hospital room door opened slowly. Secretary Park, approaching without making a sound, placed a shopping bag containing a suit from the residence on the sofa table.

He looked at the profile of Han Seung-jae, who was seated in the chair by the bedside. Han Seung-jae was gazing at the sleeping Seo Yi-kyung.

Secretary Park spoke slowly.

“I have brought the clothes for him to change into.”

“…….”

“The physician is also conducting blood tests, so I will report to you as soon as the results are out.”

Secretary Park bowed and quietly left the room as he had entered. He walked toward the laboratory where the physician was.

“…….”

The only sound in the room was the noise leaking from the machines. Han Seung-jae, [unauthorized copy]who stolen contenthad remained motionless until then, reached out. He grasped Seo Yi-kyung’s hand and looked at the palm as if checking it.

Seo Yi-kyung’s small palm, resting helplessly in Han Seung-jae’s large grip, was covered in scratches from fingernails.

These were hands that held a brush and painted…

Now they were covered in reddish wounds.

Myeongjun Financial Group, President’s Office.

“Hahaha, hahahaha!”

Han Yechan, sitting on the sofa, repeatedly slapped the armrest. Meanwhile, his eyes were fixed on the genetic test results brought by Chief Secretary Kang.

Though he had just seen it, he burst into laughter again as he looked at the result stating “extreme dominant Alpha.” Moreover, the genes were 99.9999% identical to Han Seung-jae.

“It’s definitely our Seung-jae’s child.”

“Congratulations, President.”

Chief Secretary Kang stood beside Han Yechan, looking at the same paper and chiming in. Han Yechan, feeling as if he could fly to the sky, shook the paper.

“Now I can finally sleep with my legs stretched out.”

“You’ve suffered a lot of heartache until now, haven’t you? Now you should be able to.”

“Indeed. Now that I’ve seen a grandson who is an extreme dominant Alpha, I have no further wishes. More importantly, where is Seung-jae now? Is he in the office?”

“Shall I contact him to come up?”

“Yes. Tell him let’s have a drink tonight. When else would one drink than on a day like this! No, forget it. It’ll be better if I go and tell him face-to-face.”

Finding the wait for Han Seung-jae to come up too long, Han Yechan rose with excitement, and Chief Secretary Kang took the paper from him and placed it on the desk.

The two took the elevator and arrived at the Director’s Office visit Read on Read BL Novelsour siteRead on Read BL Novelswhere Han Seung-jae stayed. An employee at the entrance greeted them.
