4.3 – What Salvation Is
September was the rainiest period of the rainy season in Bangkok. Rain was falling at Suvarnabhumi Airport. It wasn't a squall, but a steady, soaking drizzle. After taxiing, the plane couldn't enter the gate immediately and had been holding on the apron for over ten minutes.
Mechanics in raincoats were scurrying busily around other aircraft. I stared blankly at the scene, which looked urgent yet orderly.
“Mr. Jeong, excuse me.”
