The capital of the Empire, where the Imperial Palace was located, was a massive city. Even from inside the carriage, the surrounding noise and vibrancy were fully conveyed.

Any other noble might be different, but there was no reason for Duke Castilla to stay in other accommodations after coming to the capital. The carriage entered the Imperial Palace directly.

The Imperial Palace was completely different from Lucius Castle, which was like a fortress where Chaika had lived since childhood, or Castilla Castle, which was practically a fortress city. What surrounded the massive Imperial Palace were not heavy, thick stone walls or watchtowers. The Imperial Palace was truly a giant, luxurious residence of the Emperor. In the middle of an endlessly wide and beautiful garden sat a magnificent white building. It was an arrogant castle that didn't consider—or rather, didn't seem to worry about—external intrusions at all.
