The weather on the wedding day was as clear as could be. I hadn’t seen such a clear sky in recent memory.
“Perfect!”
The vice-captain, who was the first to check outside, shouted. A busy day began in the blink of an eye. Among them, of course, Koi and Ashley were the busiest.
As soon as they opened their eyes, the Bridesmaid, who had taken a limousine bus to the church where the wedding would be held, immediately scattered to the room where Koi and Ashley were waiting. There, Koi, who had finished all the preparations, was standing in a tuxedo with a very nervous face.

The sisters, who didn’t miss taking pictures with their cell phones, made a fuss and chattered around Koi, vying for the front. Koi was so distracted, but he didn’t dislike this excited atmosphere. When a sister who had quickly gone to spy reported, Ariel raised her chin as if she knew it.

With the sisters’ strong support, Koi’s trembling heart calmed down a little.
The church where the wedding was held was the place where the Miller family’s ceremonies had been held for generations, and Ashley’s father and his father had all been married here. The church, which was over 100 years old, had been repeatedly expanded, with a very high steeple and a wide base, making it very splendid and full of dignity. The faint sound of the choir singing from outside further highlighted the church’s dignity.
After the wedding, the reception was scheduled to take place at the mansion. All preparations were perfect.
“When are you going to wear the tuxedo?”
When Koi asked at the sight of the sisters wearing dresses, Ariel replied.
“We’re going to have the reception at the mansion, right? We decided to wear them then.”
That meant it was the ice hockey team guys’ turn to wear dresses. Koi laughed, and Ariel pouted.
“It would have been nice if you could join us.”
He wanted to scold Ashley for being narrow-minded, but he held back. Anyway, he was one of the main characters, so he decided to be generous for today.
“Aren’t you taking pictures? When are you taking them?”
One of the sisters asked. The role of the Bridesmaid is very important when getting married, but Bernice had been taking care of everything they had to do, so the sisters were noticeably anxious.
“We’re not flowers decorating the wedding!”
Finally, the vice-captain declared, and some roles were divided among them. One of them was to take care of Koi’s miscellaneous errands on the wedding day. The couple shouldn’t see each other’s faces before the wedding, but instead, they would stand with a wall between them or hold hands outside the door to take pictures. They were very interested in this event.
“We’ve found a good spot.”
They said confidently, having come to the church in advance and looked around. The old church’s outer wall, covered with ivy, was a little taller than Ashley’s height and thin in thickness, making it perfect for taking pictures.
“Okay, stand here and hold out your hand. That’s right. Ash!”
At the vice-captain’s shout, a hand came out from over the wall. Koi, who recognized the familiar hand, smiled broadly and took it. Ashley asked from across the wall.
“Koi, are you okay? Is it hard?”
“I’m good.”
Koi replied immediately.
“I’m so happy.”
Ashley’s laughter seemed to be heard. Soon after, the Bridesmaid all stepped back, and the photographer captured their picture in the frame.
After taking a few more pictures like that, the two separated again without seeing each other’s faces. Ashley, who had held Koi’s hand tightly one last time, moved away, but Koi was caught by his friends and dragged back to the waiting room before he could feel any regret.
Ariel, who had checked the Wedding ring one more time, put it in her arms and did a final check. The friends were busy moving around and finally went to get ready when it was time.
After finishing makeup and hair styling with the help of experts, they chattered excitedly, and then there was a knock, and a church official peeked in.
“The ceremony will begin now. Please come out, Bridesmaid.”
“Whoa.”
“What should I do!”
The sisters, who stroked their chests and took deep breaths, lined up in the order they had planned. Finally, Koi, the highlight of today, was scheduled to stand. The Bridesmaid were supposed to go out in pairs, holding hands, but today’s protagonists were different. Ashley would go out first and stand before the priest, and then Koi would go out and walk towards him.
“What a stale idea is this?”
The sisters didn’t miss the chance to criticize Ashley, but Ariel could see through his dark intentions.
He’s determined to see Koi walk towards him of his own will.
Perhaps Ariel was the only one who understood Ashley’s thoughts. The sisters were dissatisfied, treating Koi like a demure bride, and Koi had no thoughts at all. In any case, there was no one to stop the will of one of the main characters, and there was no justification, so Ashley’s request was easily accepted. And finally, that time came.
“You can go out now.”
They had rehearsed many times, but everyone was nervous when it became reality. The sisters exchanged encouraging glances and went out in order, and Koi, who had been waiting for Ashley to walk out, finally took a trembling breath at the church official’s instruction and took a step.
The guests who saw Koi’s appearance stood up all at once. At the end of the white Wedding Aisle, Ashley was standing. Koi felt his face flush as he took one step after another. As the distance narrowed, Ashley’s lips could be seen loosening. The sunlight pouring in through the stained glass windows colored the church in various colors.
Finally.
Ashley felt his heart begin to beat slowly and heavily. He had waited a long time. For this moment.
Finally, Koi is coming to him.
Surely, this time without fail.
To swear eternity.
When he was three or four steps away, Ashley reached out his hand. Koi also raised one hand and finally took his hand. The moment they stood facing each other before the priest, Ashley forgot to breathe.
He’s mine.
“Do you swear to respect, love, and cherish your spouse for the rest of your life as long as you live?”
The priest asked. Koi opened his mouth towards Ashley with a flushed face.
“Yes, I do.”
Ashley smiled and replied.
“I do.”
Ariel and Bill exchanged glances from behind. Finally, it was their turn. They took out the rings they had been carefully keeping and handed them to Koi and Ashley, watching the couple with fluttering hearts.
First, Ashley put the ring on Koi’s finger, and then Koi put the Wedding ring on Ashley’s hand. The two people holding hands with the rings on smiled naturally. The priest also looked at them alternately with a smiling face and said.
“You may kiss each other.”
Ashley cupped Koi’s cheeks. Their eyes were filled only with each other’s faces. As Ashley tilted his head, Koi’s eyes naturally closed. Their lips touched, and cheers and applause followed from all directions.
Now Koi is completely mine.
Ashley couldn’t help but hug Koi tightly. Finally, Koi had come. The face he had been longing for so much had appeared at the train station where he had been sitting alone, waiting endlessly, and stood before him.

Koi says. Ashley just hugs him.

He whispered. Suddenly, his eyes felt hot. It felt like he had finally reached his destination.
