“Tae-kyung.”
The guy who was emitting heat from his whole body grabbed my wrist. His eyes were dark, and he had a smile on his lips. It looked like he had completely lost it.
“Se-han, just a moment.”
I pulled my butt back in a daze and slowly retreated. It didn’t seem like anything I said would reach this beast right now.
I let go of his wrist and got out of bed.
“I’m going to sleep in Tae-min’s room!”
I ran out of the room without looking back. It wasn’t far to Tae-min’s room, but my legs were shaking so much that it was hard to walk.
Click. I quietly opened the door and saw Tae-min tossing and turning. He was a light sleeper, so I carefully entered the room.
Hoo… I leaned against the door for a moment, but my heart was still pounding and wouldn’t calm down. I gripped the doorknob tightly in case Sung Se-han opened the door and came in.
“Ha… really, what is this….”
In fact, I wouldn’t have been able to escape if Sung Se-han hadn’t let me go willingly. It was fortunate that he had even a shred of conscience.
“Hoo….”
The more I thought about it, the more absurd it was, and I sighed involuntarily.
Tae-min’s breathing sounded even, so it seemed like he was fast asleep. I carefully approached, took a spot at the edge of the bed, and lay down on my side.
I closed my eyes tightly because I wanted to fall asleep quickly, but I became more and more sensitive.
What the hell is this? I could have slept together for the first time in a while, but because of Sung Se-han, that beast….
Thump, thump. I thought my heart had calmed down, but it hadn’t. No, instead of calming down, my face was getting hotter and hotter.
Even with my eyes closed, I couldn’t erase Sung Se-han’s face as he got excited because of me.
I muffled a moan and curled up, and the sound of my heart echoed even louder in my ears.
Buzzing. I could hear people talking.
The noise that was disturbing my deep sleep was quite annoying.
“Ugh….”
I frowned deeply and then remembered. Ah, right. This is home…? I have to get up and see Mom off to work….
It was a struggle to force my eyelids open. I rubbed my eyes to clear my head, and then someone grabbed my wrist.
“Huh…?”
I squinted my eyes open and then woke up completely.
Sung Se-han was right in front of me. Sung Se-han, who was holding my wrist, was looking into my face.
“Se-han…!”
My mind cleared, and I remembered. Sung Se-han slept in our house, in my bed.
“Did you sleep well?”
Sung Se-han asked as he touched my hair. I had woken up, but I still felt dazed.
“It’s amazing. The first thing I see when I open my eyes is Sung Se-han’s face.”
Sung Se-han, who had changed into his own clothes, was wearing a short-sleeved black t-shirt. I blankly stared at him.
His neatly styled ash brown hair, his captivating brown eyes and well-defined jawline, everything felt unreal, like I was watching a vivid video.
It seemed like Mom and Tae-min were setting the table in the kitchen. I could still hear them talking, but I didn’t want to get up. I wanted to stay like this a little longer, looking at Sung Se-han.
Sung Se-han, who had been squatting, stood up and sat next to me. I inhaled without realizing it as the mattress swayed.
“Want to sleep more?”
Sung Se-han’s face, looking down at me, was dark because of the backlight. Perhaps that’s why his thick, square shoulders looked especially broad.
“I’m going to get up.”
“Tae-kyung, aren’t you going to ask me if I slept well?”
Sung Se-han raised the corners of his lips and gave me a refreshing smile, making me smile along with him.
Mornings like this, when I felt so happy that my chest ached, wouldn’t come often.
“Sung Se-han, did you sleep well?”
“No.”
My smile faded as Sung Se-han lowered his eyebrows and shook his head. I sat up abruptly and looked into Sung Se-han’s face.
“Huh, why? Was the bed uncomfortable?”
“No, it’s uncomfortable here.”
My gaze naturally followed Sung Se-han’s hand as he moved it. And I stared in dismay as his large hand grabbed his crotch.
“You made it explode and then ran away.”
“Hey.”
I glared at him with narrowed eyes, but Sung Se-han didn’t change his expression of feigning pity.
“I pulled out three times in your bed, but it didn’t go down….”
“Hey! Just shut up!”
The moment I grabbed Sung Se-han by the collar with both hands, a loud voice came from beyond the door.
“Tae-kyung, aren’t you up yet?”
“Yes? Ah, I’m up, Mom!”
I was so flustered that my voice became high-pitched and erratic. Shit, I pushed Sung Se-han away and ran out of the room.
I ran to the bathroom, and Mom poked her head out from the kitchen.
“You’re up? Breakfast is ready, so come quickly.”
“Mom, I’m just going to wash my face and come out!”
I said I was just going to wash my face, but I couldn’t. Sung Se-han looked so neat and clean and smelled so good, and I didn’t want to sit at the table with my hair a mess in front of him.
I quickly took a shower and came out of the bathroom with a towel on my head. I didn’t have time to dry my hair.
I changed my clothes and went to the kitchen, where the three people sitting at the table were already eating.
“Tae-kyung, come quickly. The soup will get cold.”
Mom seemed to be in a good mood because it was the first time in a while that we were all together. Her voice and laughter were very loud.
As I approached the four-person table, Sung Se-han pulled out the chair next to him. I looked at him with cold eyes, and the bastard winked at me and sat down.
Mom suddenly got up from the table as if she had just remembered something. And she took out a glass bowl from the refrigerator.
“Se-han, you like stir-fried eggplant, right? Eat a lot, okay?”
“Yes, I will enjoy the meal.”
Sung Se-han gave Mom a friendly eye-smile.
Hoo… He seems like the most normal guy in the world at times like this. Why can’t he maintain that image?
I shook my head and made eye contact with Tae-min, who was sitting across from me.
“Tae-min, why?”
I asked because it seemed like he had something to say, but Tae-min lowered his gaze.
“No, nothing.”
Then he started eating his soup diligently.
“You guys came in early in the morning and didn’t get any sleep, right? Se-han has to go to the practice room, so how are you going to manage being so tired?”
“Don’t worry, Mother.”
Sung Se-han answered Mom’s concern in the most kind and innocent way.
“I think I slept very well because I slept in a comfortable place for the first time in a while. My condition is very good.”
“Oh my, really? Hohoho!”
I was about to push the stir-fried potatoes that Sung Se-han liked towards him when I made eye contact with Tae-min again. I felt a little awkward when I saw Tae-min turning his head away. I had only taken care of Se-han too much when we had met after a long time.
“Tae-min, you like rolled omelets, right? Eat a lot.”
I put the plate in front of Tae-min and patted his hand, and he nodded.
“Yeah, Hyung, you eat a lot too.”
“Se-han, tell me if there’s anything you want to eat for dinner. I’ll make it all for you.”
I widened my eyes at Mom’s words and asked.
“Se-han… is he coming over for dinner?”
“Yeah. He said he’d stay with you during your vacation.”
Sung Se-han smiled as he looked at me, but I had a headache.
No, he didn’t have to go to the trouble of coming all the way here. If he wanted to see me, it would be much easier for me to go….
“You two get along so well, you should live next door to each other even after you get married, huh?”
Mom said it with a happy expression, but I felt like I was choking on my soup.
“Mother, I’m going to marry Tae-kyung.”
“Oh? That’s a good idea too, Darling. Hohoho.”
It was a pleasant dinner table with light jokes, but it wasn’t comfortable anymore. I was frozen with a spoon in my hand, and when I finally looked up, I saw Tae-min with a cold expression.
“Tae-min, do you have something to say to Hyung?”
“No.”
He answered and stuffed his mouth full of side dishes. I stirred my soup, pondered, and finally spoke.
“Tae-min, is it hard to study since you came to high school? You must be stressed out because you have to go to so many academies.”
“Studying is okay. Mom works hard to send me to academies, so I have to study hard.”
“That’s right. Good boy, our Tae-min.”
“Lee Tae-min.”
When Sung Se-han called out, I could see Tae-min’s expression stiffen.
“When you talk to Hyung on the phone, you say you miss him so much, but why are you so awkward when he actually comes?”
“Well, it’s because it’s been so long since we met.”
Tae-min shrugged and pushed the side dishes towards Sung Se-han.
“But since we’re on the subject, I don’t think Se-han Hyung should see our Hyung often.”
Huh…? Before I could even repeat Tae-min’s words, Sung Se-han asked first.
“Why?”
Tae-min looked at Mom, who was tilting her head, and then opened his mouth again.
“Mom doesn’t know, but because Se-han Hyung sees Hyung often, they have a lot of antis. There are a lot of bad things being said… Anyway, nothing good comes of it.”
“Oh my, good heavens! Is that so…!”
My brow furrowed at Mom’s surprised face. It wasn’t that I didn’t understand Tae-min’s feelings, but there was no need to tell her this in front of Mom.
“Tae-min, aren’t you spending too much time on the internet when you’re busy studying?”
No, that’s not the nagging I was trying to do, but a condemning remark came out first.
“Even if I don’t use the internet, I know everything just from what the kids at school say.”
