Sung Se-han, sitting on the long desk, raised one hand to me. Sung Se-han, wearing a black Ball Cap pulled down low, was wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt with a large logo and dark-colored ripped jeans.
I slowly caught my breath at the entrance of the conference room. Sung Se-han looked even more stylish today, and my heart wouldn’t calm down at all.
“I only came out for a bit during lunch, so I have to go back in 10 minutes.”
Sung Se-han checked his wristwatch and then looked at me again. But I couldn’t make eye contact with Sung Se-han and turned around to close the conference room door.
If you’re going to set a timer as soon as we meet, why did you even come all the way here? Did anyone force you to come here? Unable to suppress the surge of resentment, I bit my lip without even realizing it hurt.

I couldn’t control my erratic emotions, so kind words didn’t come out.

Sung Se-han pointed to a shopping bag placed on the desk with his chin. Even without checking the contents, I could tell it was a phone just by looking at the logo.

Even though it was shaded by the Ball Cap, Sung Se-han’s coldly sunken eyes couldn’t be hidden. If he was going to make me feel uneasy with an incomprehensible gaze, it would have been better if he hadn’t shown his face at all.

A calm voice flowed from his reddish lips.

I let out a dazed sound from the shock of my heart dropping to the floor. What did Sung Se-han just say? Ah, wait a minute…! Because my mind went blank, I couldn’t figure out what to say.

I couldn’t even try to hide my embarrassment at the words that followed.
My legs trembled as if I was about to collapse from the feeling of my blood cooling, and unpleasant sweat soaked into my hands as they slid down.
Sung Se-han said it felt disgusting. Because I hugged him.
