“Hng.”
A groan finally leaked out. I couldn’t help but tremble because his fingers were subtly touching my scrotum. His sticky hand caressed between my legs, which were covered in sweat, even more blatantly. Sung Se-han’s hot breath made it hard to breathe.
“Se-han. Euut, I’m asking you not to…!”
“Then, Tae-kyung.”
Sung Se-han, who had wrapped his arms around my neck and pulled me close, overlapped his lips with mine. I opened my mouth as if I had been waiting and accepted Sung Se-han’s sweet tongue.
“To calm my dick down, it’d be good to talk about things like this.”
I blankly stared at the lips that had quickly fallen away before lifting my gaze.
“Huh…?”
Even as Sung Se-han’s thumb rubbed my wet lips, I didn’t take my eyes off his brown eyes.
“Robin Hyung.”
Huh…? Kang Robin Sunbae?
Sung Se-han’s eyes, which had glanced past me, seemed to be recalling something. The way the light under his dense eyelashes flickered coldly made my heart pound.
“He was stabbed all over his body with a knife at seventeen and almost died.”
I, who had been staring at Sung Se-han with dazed eyes until then, felt the surrounding air rapidly cooling down.
“Even though he was hospitalized in a coma for over three months, the police didn’t even investigate properly.”
It took me a little while to understand the words I had just heard. As I stood there with my mouth open like an idiot, a hard finger brushed past my cheek.
“Robin Hyung’s Grandfather, so my Great-Grandfather, ran around the police station alone and got sick from the stress.”
In contrast to me, who was gradually heating up, Sung Se-han’s light-colored eyes were gradually calming down.
“Robin Hyung couldn’t even be there for his Grandfather’s death, who raised him, so he’s been heartbroken ever since.”
“Why….”
The hand gripping Sung Se-han’s collar trembled slightly. A large hand overlapped my hand.
“Because Robin Hyung met her and had me, Robin Hyung must have been a bastard to the maternal side.”
My lips started to tremble, so I bit them and widened my eyes.
“T, then… Kang Robin Sunbae was stabbed… by the maternal side…?”
Sung Se-han pulled up my pants without answering. After zipping them up and fastening the belt tightly, he turned his gaze back to me.
“When Robin Hyung was attacked by those bastards, there were two CCTV cameras in the studio, but even so, the police couldn’t find any evidence. Tae-kyung, a teenage rapper who was praised as a genius disappeared for more than a year, but it wasn’t reported in any media. Robin Hyung just became someone who never existed.”
If Sung Se-han had raised his voice and expressed his anger, my heart wouldn’t have been this sore. I didn’t know what to do with this guy who was so used to suppressing his emotions, and my vision became hot.
“Robin Hyung lost his Grandfather at seventeen and became an orphan. He wasn’t protected by anyone….”
My heart crumbled because Sung Se-han trailed off. I rushed forward and hugged Sung Se-han’s neck.
“Sung Se-han, it’s the same for you.”
Even if I buried my nose in his neck and inhaled the scent coming from Sung Se-han, the anxiety didn’t go away.
“You weren’t protected either! You too….”
I needed more proof that this guy was alive in front of me. Suddenly, I felt like all the blood in my body was cooling down, wondering what if all of this was a dream.
“You spent your childhood locked in a room like an animal! Those guys threatened you so you couldn’t play the piano… they tried to step on your hands and make them unusable! Those bastards have no guilt. They even tried to stop you from becoming an idol, smashing everything….”
“Tae-kyung.”
Sung Se-han took me out of his arms and gripped my shoulders tightly.
“Where did you hear that?”
Sung Se-han, who was looking at me with questioning eyes, tilted his head slightly.
“I haven’t told Auntie or Robin Hyung about that.”
“Huh, huh…? What…?”
What did I say? I was so flustered that my mind went blank.
“What…? I only heard it from Auntie and Kang Robin Sunbae….”
“Lee Tae-kyung.”
I couldn’t help but groan because of the tremendous force that was twisting my shoulders as if to break them.
“I didn’t tell Auntie that my hands were stepped on. And I didn’t tell her in detail about them coming to my house to smash things and threaten me because I was worried she would worry.”
I was speechless and just stared at Sung Se-han with my mouth open. I tried to buy time by blinking, but I couldn’t come up with an answer right away.
“Did those bastards go to you?”
Even though I shook my head urgently, a murderous intent instantly filled Sung Se-han’s face.
“Those fucking things.”
“It’s not true!”
Startled, I grabbed Sung Se-han’s collar with both hands and shook him.
“If someone came to me, I would have told you everything, would I have stayed still? Look at my eyes! It’s something related to you, why would I hide something like that!”
Sung Se-han scrutinized my eyes as if trying to find something, anything, more.
“But how did you know? I didn’t tell anyone.”
“Se-han.”
I was so pathetic for blurting out anything that came to mind without thinking that I sighed deeply. I rubbed my forehead in frustration before meeting the eyes of Sung Se-han, who was waiting for an answer.
“I can’t say anything right now. Think of it as being for my sake… can you just bear with it a little bit? I’ll tell you everything later….”
Sung Se-han, who had been looking out the window for a moment, quietly asked.
“Is this also related to the mission you were doing?”
“Yeah….”
As I nodded, the strength in Sung Se-han’s hand that had been holding my shoulder was released. The lowered hand quietly started to smooth out my crumpled jacket.
“Tae-kyung, my Grandmother always said this. Nothing is obtained for free.”
Ah. My eyes widened and my mouth opened on its own. Sung Se-han was telling me about his Grandmother for the first time. But it was already a very familiar saying to me.
“I’ll tell you what’s in my heart.”
Sung Se-han’s palm heavily pressed down on my chest. I quietly kept my mouth open and alternately looked at the hand touching my chest and his brown eyes.
“I sometimes have a habit of looking to the left.”
There were really many times when Sung Se-han put a strain on my heart. But I just realized that it was all an exaggeration.
Right now, I felt like I was going to die from the pain in my heart.
“Because there was a window on the left side of the room I was locked in, I breathed while looking at it every day.”
The window, which was too high for young Se-han to reach even on tiptoes, wasn’t even big enough for enough sunlight to enter.
How could I breathe when Sung Se-han was saying that he still looks at that window?
“It was too long to call it a nightmare, but still, Tae-kyung. I survived.”
“Yeah.”
His beautiful brown eyes, shining more vividly than anyone else in this world, were proof of that. Sung Se-han survived. He came back to life without dying even after death.
The fact that he was alive in front of me right now was an absolute truth that couldn’t be denied.
“You’re too pretty when you cry, but don’t cry because of me.”
I only realized that I was crying because of the sensation of his hand wiping my cheek.
“Don’t pity me either, Tae-kyung.”
I’ve never pitied Sung Se-han, but if he doesn’t like it, I shouldn’t think that way in the future either. I couldn’t speak, so I just nodded.
“Robin Hyung and I were able to meet because we survived. And I met you because I endured it well. I can grab everything I want and have anything, but it’s never free.”
Sung Se-han raised one corner of his mouth and showed me a dazzling smile.
“My Grandmother said that I’ve already paid the price, so I can take the whole world.”
“Haha….”
I tried to speak, but a strange laugh leaked out.
“Your Grandmother spoiled you too much… so you don’t even know it’s embarrassing to do crazy things. Now I understand.”
Just thinking about his playful and affectionate voice painted a picture of how warm his Grandmother must have been.
“It’s a bit unfair to say that. My Grandmother was the type to pay me back twice as much if I did something bad.”
Sung Se-han, raising one eyebrow, looked at me crookedly.
“Hahaha! I see….”
I’m so grateful to his Grandmother for pouring so much love into Sung Se-han that I don’t know how I can repay her.
Sung Se-han suddenly bent down and picked up the phone that had fallen on the floor. Seeing the phone vibrating in his hand made me snap to my senses.
“Ah, what should I do. It looks like Gun-woo Hyung kept calling….”
Sung Se-han stroked my flustered head.
“Go. I’ll wait here until your shoot is over.”
“No, you don’t have to.”
I reached out and smoothed Sung Se-han’s disheveled hair and patted his broad shoulders.
“Se-han, anyway, the incident that happened in the parking lot won’t have any CCTV footage, so it’ll be like it never happened. Right?”
