NOT 113

Petals scattered while moonlight thinly coated the ground. With each pass of the wind, cherry blossom petals danced.

Petals also settled on the shoulders of the two leaning against the car. From where the petals touched, a warmth seemed to spread.

“The word ‘romantic’ must be for moments like this.”

Haon couldn’t bring himself to look away.

The emotions that had been swirling all day with people finally seemed to settle into place.

And as soon as they settled, strangely, another desire welled up.

Haon looked at the petals, then shifted his gaze toward Cha Jeong-won. His profile was as neat as usual, yet somehow seemed different.

Even while looking at him, he wanted to see him; even while being together, he wanted to stay together. Preferably for a very long time.

‘I want to have Cha Jeong-won.’

He swallowed his honest desire.

Cha Jeong-won had a destined partner elsewhere, so he was just someone who had briefly intervened. But now, that word ‘destiny’ had become uncomfortable.

Even if that person appeared, he didn’t want to give Cha Jeong-won up.

Simultaneously, a sense of self-reproach toward himself arose.

At first, it was just a connection tangled by misfortune.

Haon had only wanted to stick by Cha Jeong-won’s side. It was just because it was effective in chasing away the misfortune.

Things like the talisman were serious matters to Cha Jeong-won, but now he was afraid that if even that reason disappeared, he might have no excuse to remain by his side.

He wanted to make even the cherry blossoms falling now, and Cha Jeong-won, his own.

The wind blew again. A petal clung to Cha Jeong-won’s hair.

“Even the flowers like you, sunbae.”

Haon reached out and plucked the petal for him.

And then he carefully imprisoned it in his own palm.

He wanted to possess even this petal that had briefly touched Cha Jeong-won.

Whether he knew of Haon’s feelings or not, Cha Jeong-won was silent for a while. The silence that had continued from the exhibition hall seemed to have followed them here.

He wasn’t looking at the cherry blossoms, but at Haon. That gaze felt strangely heavy.

Haon blinked unconsciously, then turned his head as if looking at the flowers.

Looking at Haon’s softly falling profile, Cha Jeong-won recalled the moment he had encountered his mother today.

And even Haon’s hand that had held him back.

Seeing Haon claiming him as rightfully his, Cha Jeong-won felt relieved. Yet that relief sometimes felt unfamiliar.

Cha Jeong-won thought again.

Are you truly the Omega Amulet my mother threw? A remedy that accidentally [Read on Read BL Novels] BL Novels -->fell before me? Or something that existed even before those words?

There was still no answer. He thought he had already withdrawn his suspicion toward Haon once, but once again his heart had become stained with doubt.

However, he didn’t feel like pushing him away as before.

In the past, it would have been grounds to push Yoon Haon away, but now it was different.

Cha Jeong-won slowly looked at Haon. His gaze grew more intent.

“Haon-ah.”

Cha Jeong-won began softly.

“My feelings are deepening.”

It was a sudden confession. Haon looked at Cha Jeong-won with a puzzled face. Somehow, the atmosphere didn’t seem like one where he should smile.

“Weren’t we dating because we liked each other?”

Haon asked back in a small voice.

Instead of answering, Cha Jeong-won placed his hand on Haon’s cheek. His palm was warm. As he swept his thumb once across Haon’s cheek, Haon swallowed his breath at that small friction.

“Today……”

Cha Jeong-won said without releasing Haon’s face.

“I really didn’t want to give you up.”

Haon was speechless.

Why did the word ‘give up’ sound so loud?

Hearing that sunbae couldn’t give him up, he somehow felt like he had stolen something from someone. Without even knowing whose it was.

Haon grabbed Cha Jeong-won’s wrist.

“Sunbae.”

Another cherry blossom petal fell stolen contentbetween them. Haon followed that petal with his visit our siteeyes, saw it stop on Cha Jeong-won’s shoulder, and smiled.

It seems the flower really likes Cha Jeong-won.

So do I.

Haon laughed very briefly.

“Let’s go home.”

He wanted to stroke Cha Jeong-won’s body with his own hands instead of the cherry blossoms.

Instead of answering, Cha Jeong-won took Haon’s hand. Their fingers intertwined.

While quietly gazing at each other under the cherry blossom rain, complex feelings were chaotically mixing between them.

* * *

Cha Jeong-won opened the door first, but Haon couldn’t go inside for a while.

The word ‘home’ felt strangely frightening today.

It seemed that the moment he stepped inside, he would confront reality, and whatever happened from now on would become clearer than imagination.

Cha Jeong-won didn’t rush Haon.

He just waited without letting go of Haon’s hand. The body heat between their palms gradually grew hotter.

“Shall we… go in?”

As Haon finally took off his shoes and stepped inside, Cha Jeong-won quietly closed the door.

He felt strangely trapped. It wasn’t that the walls and floor were closing in, but it seemed because their breaths had drawn closer.

“Earlier…”

Haon started to speak but closed his mouth upon seeing Cha Jeong-won approach.

“Don’t speak.”

Cha Jeong-won’s voice was subdued.

“That… I want to do that too, of course, but I have something I want to say before that.”

Haon, more than anyone, wanted to wrap his arms around his neck, pull him close, and kiss him right now.

It was also true that there were words he needed to say first.

“About your feelings deepening. Tell me a little more.”

All the way home, Haon had been preoccupied with those words.

He thought they already liked each other, but could there be feelings beyond that?

Or he wanted to hear if there was another meaning.

Cha Jeong-won lifted Haon’s hand and lightly pressed his lips to the back of it.

It was a brief contact. Yet, Haon couldn’t readily pull his hand away. Rather, he felt captivated by Cha Jeong-won, as if he might not hear the answer to the question he just asked.

“Right now…”

Cha Jeong-won said, looking straight at Haon.

“I only have the thought that I don’t want to lose you.”

Haon’s throat tightened at those words.

“Sunbae.”

Haon called again.

This time, Cha Jeong-won answered.

“Yeah.”

At that answer, Haon’s words were blocked.

Instead, he grabbed Cha Jeong-won’s tie. Haon’s hands, untying the knot, trembled incessantly, contrary to his heart.

Cha Jeong-won grabbed Haon’s wrist that our site [visit our site]-->visit our sitewas untying his tie. It felt more like carefully enveloping it rather than seizing it.

Haon’s fingers deeply intertwined with Cha Jeong-won’s fingers.

Their gazes met again.

Cha Jeong-won’s eyes were deeper than what he had seen at the exhibition hall, and heavier than under the cherry blossoms.

Haon liked that gaze.

It felt like proof that he wasn’t the only one feeling desire.

Cha Jeong-won slowly lifted Haon’s chin.

Haon didn’t avoid it. Instead, he drew even closer.

Cha Jeong-won’s lips covered Haon’s again.

He gently bit Haon’s lower lip, then released it. Haon unconsciously opened his mouth. Through that gap, Cha Jeong-won’s tongue slipped in.

The moment their tongues touched, Haon’s shoulders gave a very small shudder.

It wasn’t surprise. It was just because what he had been holding back was released in an instant.

Cha Jeong-won didn’t rush aggressively. Instead, he tangled slowly and lengthily, making Haon have no choice but to follow. Each time his tongue passed, Haon’s mouth grew hotter.

A wet sound was heard. At that sound, more explicit than the sound of lips meeting, Haon’s face grew hot and he gripped Cha Jeong-won’s clothes even tighter.

Cha Jeong-won’s hand wrapped around the nape of Haon’s neck. His thumb quietly pressed and rubbed Haon’s delicate skin.

Their lips parted briefly. Their breaths mingled, leaving a lukewarm heat at the corners of their mouths.

Unable to bear the gap, Haon pulled Cha Jeong-won’s lips back to his.

This time, Haon stuck out his tongue and carefully licked. He thought it would just awkwardly brush, but Cha Jeong-won immediately accepted it, drawing Haon’s tongue deeper inside.

Haon distinctly felt the sensation in his mouth. Not knowing whether Cha Jeong-won was smiling or not, he focused only on the kiss.

“Haa.”

As their lips parted and they caught their [stolen Read on Read BL Novelscontent]unauthorized copy-->breath, Cha Jeong-won pressed his forehead against Haon’s.

Haon undid one button of Cha Jeong-won’s shirt. Even the sound of his fingertips pushing the button off seemed loud.

Cha Jeong-won’s hand wrapped around Haon’s waist and slowly pulled. It felt as if they were checking just how close they could get, from chest to stomach to thighs.

Soon, Haon’s body was pressed against Cha Jeong-won’s.

Cha Jeong-won pressed his lips to Haon’s head. And added softly.

“Today, I really didn’t want to give you up.”

At those words repeated to him, Haon’s heart grew chaotic.

Why is it that when you hear someone has decided on their feelings, you become even more anxious?

Haon lifted his head and sought Cha Jeong-won’s lips again. This time, Haon was first.

It wasn’t rushed, but it was earnest.

As Cha Jeong-won accepted that kiss, he stroked [visit stolen contentour site]Haon’s back. Under that touch, Haon felt his body slowly growing warm.

Haon laughed, panting. It was precisely between a laugh and a sigh.

“Sunbae.”

Haon spoke with his lips close.

“Today, just… stay with me.”

Instead of answering, Cha Jeong-won swept his finger once across Haon’s cheek.

That touch was more certain than words.

“Okay.”

Cha Jeong-won said softly.

“Today, I’ll be with you.”

Cha Jeong-won’s lips covered Haon’s again.

They didn’t peel away the emotions clinging to each other’s lips.

Haon let out a long, hot breath and wrapped his arms around Cha Jeong-won’s neck.
