Haon suddenly turned to look beside him.
Cha Jeong-won, who was turning the steering wheel, briefly met Haon’s eyes as if brushing past him. Then he looked forward again.
In that fleeting moment, Haon’s gaze seemed to say “nice view” as he even smiled. The profile of that smiling face was exceptionally graceful.
The collar of his dress shirt neatly framed his neckline, and the tie descended smoothly over his chest. Moreover, the cuffs fit perfectly, slightly revealing the tendons and muscles of his wrists, which somehow made people even more nervous.
Haon, as if entranced, was lost in Cha Jeong-won’s face when he remembered why he had been looking at him.
Cha Jeong-won’s attitude toward Lee So-yul earlier.
Even from my perspective, it was truly cold.
Even if they weren’t close, they were acquaintances, so he could have at least offered a greeting, but Cha Jeong-won treated Lee So-yul as if he were invisible.
Thanks to that, it became starkly clear that Haon was someone within his notice.
It felt good to have captured Cha Jeong-won’s attention, but it was also somewhat embarrassing.
Then he began to imagine what would happen if he ever stepped outside this man’s circle.
That made him suddenly recall the first time he met Cha Jeong-won.
Not only did he stare with eyes that could freeze a person, but his words were also chilly.
That was actually better. He might have just ignored him and walked past.
Imagining this, Haon absentmindedly brushed his own thin cheek.
‘It would probably be really upsetting.’
It would essentially mean returning to how they were before, when they barely knew each other, but the mere thought that it could happen was unbearably painful for Haon.
Haon pressed a hand against his heart and turned his head away from Cha Jeong-won.
“You can keep looking.”
Cha Jeong-won’s right hand gently lifted Haon’s chin.
Haon obediently raised his head as guided. Then, to hide his aching heart, he forced a smile.
“Should I draw a suit on your body? It suits you so well I don’t our site -->visit our sitewant to take it off. No, wait. Then I wouldn’t be able to see your body at all.”
That would be cool too.
As he piled on the compliments, the corners of Cha Jeong-won’s mouth subtly lifted. He wasn’t just subtly pleased; he was openly showing his emotions.
That expression was so composed it was even more annoying. It was the face of someone who knew exactly how much attention he attracted.
“I think I need to take Haon’s off.”
“Does it not suit me?”
“It suits you well. But I like you better without it.”
Haon’s eyes narrowed. He immediately pulled away from him and leaned back.
“What a dangerous boyfriend.”
“I’ll be looking for any chance to take it off, so you better watch out and avoid me.”
Cha Jeong-won effortlessly played along with the joke. As they talked, they had already arrived at the university.
He knew it wasn’t far to begin with, but he felt a slight regret.
“Should we get coffee before going?”
At Cha Jeong-won’s words, Haon quickly replied.
“You go ahead first. I’ll buy it and come.”
“Let’s go together.”
“Aw, what’s the need for that?”
It was something Haon could do alone; what reason was there for Cha Jeong-won to come along?
“Then I’d be left alone……”
Cha Jeong-won fiddled with the tie around his neck. He pushed up his shirt sleeve with a finger, and even that brief movement was like a movie trailer.
“You’d probably like this look quite a bit, right?”
At that brazen remark, Haon’s mouth fell open.
“Is that a threat, saying you know you’re handsome so I can’t leave you alone?”
“Well, you look good too. If someone asks for your number on the way, refuse.”
“As if I could even speak.”
Haon bit his lip hard and then shook his head.
“Let’s go together.”
When he says it like that, it’s impolite to go alone.
“Good thinking.”
Cha Jeong-won immediately stuck right by his side.
Even with his long stride, he didn’t walk ahead of Haon and matched his pace.
Haon, too busy looking around to even appreciate Cha Jeong-won’s consideration, was preoccupied.
Passersby inevitably cast glances their way. Some openly looked back twice, while others paused with their phones in hand.
This wasn’t all because Cha Jeong-won’s suit was impeccably neat, [visit our [Read on Read BL Novels]site]but because the face above it was honestly too handsome.
“What are you looking at?”
“People sneaking glances at you in a suit?”
Haon left a question that wasn’t really a question and gently brushed his own shoulder where his pheromones lingered.
“Later, when you graduate and start working properly, you’ll probably go around like this every day, right?”
“Probably.”
He didn’t deny it.
“Then I’d feel uneasy leaving you alone.”
“Then don’t leave me alone.”
“That can’t be as easy as it sounds.”
“I can make it as easy as it sounds.”
Cha Jeong-won kept playfully echoing his words.
“How is that easy……”
“There’s a way. Think about it carefully.”
Cha Jeong-won began walking one step, then two steps ahead of Haon. Now he wasn’t openly matching his pace but creating distance.
In Haon’s field of vision, the sight of people sneaking glances at Cha Jeong-won became even clearer.
To exaggerate a little, everyone around was looking. They scanned Cha Jeong-won, and their gazes lingered on his face.
Then, some also looked at Haon. Probably wondering who he was with.
“How could anyone not feel uneasy letting a guy like that loose.”
Haon clicked his tongue, tsk tsk.
“I could never rest easy until I stamp him as mine……”
But.
Mid-sentence, a thought flashed through his mind, and Haon closed his mouth.
“Getting ahead of myself.”
How long have we even been dating, and I’m already thinking that far?
He knew well this love wouldn’t last forever. Haon, struggling to hide his heavy heart, followed Cha Jeong-won.
“His back view is killer too.”
Separate from his bitter feelings, it was a back view he couldn’t help but adore. The suit tails swayed just the right amount with each step, making it look even neater. His shoulder line was straight and broad, naturally drawing people’s eyes.
Having someone you can’t exclusively possess. It’s really not easy.

The café seemed about to burst with people.
Whether it was Cha Jeong-won’s intention or not, they had come to a different café, not the Tomato Café where Haon worked part-time.
The Tomato Café always felt crowded too, but this place was just as packed. He realized there were this many people drinking coffee.
He could feel eyes following them from the entrance. Someone in the ordering line glanced over and whispered something to the person next to them. visit [Read on Read BL Novels]our siteBoth their gazes simultaneously stuck to Cha Jeong-won before turning toward Haon.
“Yoon Haon.”
Then, someone approached from among the crowd.
“Kim Hyun-gyu?”
As Haon stopped, Cha Jeong-won also halted his steps.
“Did you come here because Tomato Café was crowded? There’s a wait here too.”
“I came looking for you.”
“For me?”
Not understanding the meaning, Haon pointed at himself with his index finger.
Then, after exchanging a nod with Cha Jeong-won, Kim Hyun-gyu took out his phone. Haon pressed him.
“You didn’t stalk me. How did you know I was here and come find me?”
“How did I know? Everyone knows.”
Then he shoved his phone screen toward Haon.
It was a photo of Haon and Cha Jeong-won.
The next photo Kim Hyun-gyu showed was of the two standing in front of a coffee shop.
They were photos that looked like advertisement spreads somewhere. Thanks to the suit, Cha Jeong-won’s features appeared even more distinct, and whether it was the good lighting or not, Haon’s face also looked brighter than usual, noticeable even if not as much as Cha Jeong-won.
“What is all this.”
Haon swiped sideways through Kim Hyun-gyu’s phone screen.
They had been posted in the department group chat room, and it seemed more than one or two people had taken them.
“Spreading the suit vibes all over, really……”
“But was there a need to take photos……. Send these to me.”
Among them, he especially coveted the photos where Cha Jeong-won looked good. Even trying to act nonchalant, the corners of his mouth kept twitching.

“Yeah, yeah, I’ll send them all.”
“So. Did you come find me just to show this?”
“That’s not it……”
Or was it because of Seo-jun? He was inwardly concerned about Seo-jun being dragged off by Kim Hyun-gyu with a shocked look on his face.
“I decided to become a teaching assistant.”
“Huh?”
“It’s been talked about for a while, but it was finalized today. Since I’m going to grad school.”
Haon was briefly speechless. Come to think of it, lately Kim Hyun-gyu had been rushing around here and there as if busy, even though he had no job.
Cha Jeong-won also gave Kim Hyun-gyu a once-over. It was a calm, assessing gaze, and Kim Hyun-gyu was seen unnecessarily straightening his shoulders.
“So, here’s the thing, help me out a bit.”
Kim Hyun-gyu lowered his voice.
“The professor gave me too much to prepare before the interview. I have to write a research proposal too. And get recommendation letters. He also said to sort out the TA placement in advance.”
“So you want help? Should we write the research proposal together?”
“No, just go to this exhibition opening for me.”
Kim Hyun-gyu handed over two tickets.
