238 – TIO Side Story 15
Butler Do asked Seo Yi-kyung that once Lee Seong-ju had moved away. Seo Yi-kyung turned his head and looked down at Ji-un in his arms.
Seeing Seo Yi-kyung seemingly lost in thought, Butler Do continued.
“From my perspective, he seems to have a cheerful personality, and I think he would be quite good at serving Young Master Ji-un.”
It seemed that having someone a bit more energetic by Ji-un’s side would actually be a good thing.
Should I focus more on my recovery, as Han Seung-jae said? Maybe my nerves are more sensitive because I lack physical strength. I probably just reacted oversensitively to the unfamiliar feeling of a stranger.
Shaking off the strange feeling he had felt moments ago, Seo Yi-kyung smiled at Ji-un.

“You can use this room.”
Click. Da-hye opened the door and stepped inside first, then moved to the side. Lee Seong-ju entered, glancing around.
Inside the room, where sunlight streamed in long, sat a spacious bed. Lee Seong-ju went straight over and sat down. His body bounced up and down a couple of times.
“The room is very nice. The bed is large and fluffy, too.”
The furniture in the room was arranged for convenience, and the shelves held decorations that looked like craftworks. The guest room was like a hotel. The presence of liquor and wine glasses in the display cabinet made it seem even more so.
“Since we were told you were coming, we prepared the items you’ll need… but please let me know if there is anything else you require.”
“Let me think for a moment.”
“…”
It didn’t mean he had to answer immediately, but because Lee Seong-ju wore a serious expression, Da-hye stood by the door as if waiting, unable to leave. Eventually, Lee Seong-ju, perched on the bed, smiled brightly.
“No matter how much I think about it now, I don’t think there’s anything, but I’ll tell you if something comes to mind later.”
Da-hye pulled the handle and closed the door. She tilted her head slowly in confusion, then turned around and walked back the way she came.

The Director’s Office.
Secretary Park put the phone he had finished using into his inner pocket and knocked on the door. He entered and approached the desk where Han Seung-jae was sitting.
“I have received a report that Mr. Lee Seong-ju has arrived.”
“Is that so?”
Since it was a strictly personal matter regarding the household, Han Seung-jae responded, but his expression showed little interest in Secretary Park’s words.
He had seen Lee Seong-ju’s resume, but if the man weren’t someone to care for Ji-un, he wasn’t the type of person Han Seung-jae would have any intersection with.
Above all, since he was brought into the house for the sake of Seo Yi-kyung and Ji-un, it was difficult for him to find any particular meaning in it. It was merely the addition of one more person staying in the house.
Moreover, if Lee Seong-ju weren’t the person caring for Ji-un, this wouldn’t have even been relayed to Han Seung-jae.
“There were no other particular comments.”
Since it was the first day, Butler Do likely hadn’t grasped the details of Lee Seong-ju’s character yet.
It didn’t seem that Han Seung-jae was waiting for Secretary Park to say anything more, either. His mind was already full of other thoughts.
“By the way, Secretary Park, how do people apologize?”
“…Pardon?”
At Han Seung-jae’s unexpected question, Secretary Park questioned back. He retraced the words in his head. Had he made some mistake? Read on Read BL NovelsWas [stolen content]Han Seung-jae asking him to realize his own fault and speak it with his own mouth?
“Did I do something wrong?”
Unable to find an answer, Secretary Park asked. Then, Han Seung-jae, who had been looking at documents, raised his gaze.
“I’m not saying you did something wrong, but what do other people do when they apologize?”
Secretary Park’s complexion gradually returned to normal. It seemed Han Seung-jae had someone he wanted to apologize to. And there was likely only one person in the world who could make him feel sorry.
He must have done something wrong to Seo Yi-kyung.
Secretary Park reached that conclusion without difficulty. And he was not a clumsy person who spoke every thought that came to mind.
Secretary Park spoke tentatively. Even if he suggested simply saying ‘I’m sorry,’ Han Seung-jae was not the type of person to ever do that. Therefore, he had to suggest something Han Seung-jae could do easily.
“Hmm… Is that how others do it?”
Han Seung-jae let out a low hum in his throat, then told him to prepare accordingly.

Seo Yi-kyung changed his clothes in the dressing room.
Standing before the full-length mirror, he buttoned his shirt up to the neck and fiddled with the collar. Even then, the hickey revealed when he turned his head to the side could not be hidden.
Seo Yi-kyung looked at the wrist bone exposed beneath his sleeve. Compared to Han Seung-jae’s body, which exercised every morning, his thin bones stood out.
If it looked that way to his own eyes, it must look even more so to Han Seung-jae. Is that why he is so worried? The fact that he calls Butler Do to take the baby whenever Seo Yi-kyung holds Ji-un is surely because he perceives his body as being very frail.
Seo Yi-kyung smoothed the shirt buttons as if checking them and turned away from the full-length mirror. Since his body was far from athletic, he still felt fatigue easily even with slight movement.
However, such things were quickly forgotten whenever he saw Ji-un.
Seo Yi-kyung opened the dressing room door and looked around the living room. A short while ago, Lee Seong-ju had approached Seo Yi-kyung, who was sitting on the sofa, and picked up Ji-un. While watching Lee Seong-ju hold and soothe Ji-un, Seo Yi-kyung suddenly felt Lee Seong-ju’s gaze reach his neck. That was why he had changed his clothes.
“Where did he go?”
He had definitely entered the dressing room while seeing Lee Seong-ju sitting on the living room sofa. But upon coming out, he was nowhere to be seen.
“Did you see where Ji-un, who was here, went?”
When Seo Yi-kyung asked a passing helper, she looked around the sofa, following his gaze. It seemed she hadn’t seen him.
“Shall I tell Butler Do to look for him?”
She was about to turn around and go back. Seo Yi-kyung waved his hand.
“I should go upstairs.”
Ji-un’s room was there. Since he might have gone back there, it would be best to go up and check.
Seo Yi-kyung took the elevator to the second floor with the helper and walked straight to Ji-un’s room. Approaching the firmly closed door, Seo Yi-kyung grabbed the handle. Through the opening gap of the door, Lee Seong-ju’s voice drifted out.
“You eat so well. You must have been very hungry.”
When Seo Yi-kyung looked inside, Lee Seong-ju was sitting at the table, holding Ji-un in his arms and feeding him with a bottle.
Seo Yi-kyung smiled at the helper beside him in relief.
“I must have been mistaken. Please don’t tell Butler Do.”
He was a person prone to unnecessary worry.
“Yes, I understand.”
The helper walked back the way she came. Suddenly, Read on Read BL Novelsvisit our site -->-->visit our siteLee Seong-ju looked up. Upon discovering Seo Yi-kyung, a deep smile formed on his lips.
“There were too many people coming and going on the first floor. I was worried he might get indigestion, so I asked Da-hye and brought him to a familiar place.”
“Ah, I didn’t think of that.”
Since Seo Yi-kyung no longer felt any discomfort sitting on the living room sofa, he hadn’t thought deeply about it. He was used to it, but Ji-un might find it difficult.
Feeling as if he had come to spy, Seo Yi-kyung stepped forward to push away the awkwardness. He had only come up here because the two people who should have been on the living room sofa were missing, but to Lee Seong-ju, it might have seemed as if he didn’t trust him. Seo Yi-kyung walked slowly and took a seat in a table chair.
“You don’t have to worry. From now on, I will take responsibility and take good care of him.”
Just as Butler Do said, he seemed like a bright and positive person. Moreover, as Seo Yi-kyung had felt, he was quick-witted. Like someone who knew exactly why he had come all the way up here, he was providing the answers to the things Seo Yi-kyung needed to say before he even said them.
“I have four younger siblings, and I raised them all.”
Listening to Lee Seong-ju, Seo Yi-kyung gazed at Ji-un, who had the bottle to his lips. He had one older brother, but they couldn’t be said to have a good relationship. But Lee Seong-ju seemed different. Not everyone had to be like him.
Indeed, Seo Yi-kyung might not be able to attend to Ji-un’s every detail alone. Wouldn’t a skilled person like Mr. Lee Seong-ju be better than someone clumsy and ignorant like himself?
‘Seung-jae probably thinks so too…’
Lee Seong-ju set the bottle down on the table and stood up. As if helping Ji-un digest, he walked slowly stolen contentRead BL Novels" style="display:none;" aria-label="Read on Read [stolen content]BL Novels">Read on Read BL Novelsaround the room, stroking the baby’s back while chatting about this and that.
“Wow—I’ll have to read all these books in the future.”
