125 – VCR

Two days had passed since I arrived at the hospital. Between the quality of the food and the devoted care I received over those two days, it felt as if I were enjoying a luxurious vacation. I couldn't even remember the last time I had felt fear after falling into the ocean. Since nothing particularly hurt, I asked several times when it would be best to be discharged. However, both the doctor and Joo Min-hyeok firmly replied that it was too early.

They said that even if I felt fine now, aftereffects and trauma could emerge, so they had to keep an eye on me. Because of that, I had a few psychiatric consultations. Judging by the therapist's reaction, there didn't seem to be any particular problem. I wondered why they were delaying my discharge so much.

There was no mention of further tests. It reached a point where the worries I'd had about how to refuse if they tried to force more tests on me became meaningless. I truly did nothing but get plenty of rest.
