At the loud ringing of the bell, Jeong-min searched for his phone with his eyes closed. He barely managed to pull the phone from beneath him and pressed it to his ear.
“Yes… hello.”
─ Is this Dr. Shin’s phone?
It was a man with a thin voice he had never heard before. Checking the phone number, surprisingly, the caller’s name appeared as Ji Su-han. Jeong-min snapped awake and bolted upright.
Since he had fallen asleep on the sofa after the call with Ju-hwan, his back was slightly stiff, but right now, he was more curious about the condition of the owner of the caller’s number.
“Who is this? Isn’t this Su-han Hyung’s phone?”
─ Ah, yes. I was drinking with Dr. Ji Su-han today, and he’s too drunk right now… he keeps calling for Dr. Shin…. Could you come pick him up? I think it’ll be hard for me to do it alone.
“Ah, yes. I understand. Please tell me the location.”
Jeong-min quickly wrote down the location. But it was strange. The place wasn’t a usual company dinner spot, but a secluded BAR. Did they have the dinner somewhere else today? No. Why does that matter right now? Jeong-min put on his jacket and quickly left Su-han’s house.
Fortunately, he caught a taxi in front of the house and drove for about 30 minutes. The fact that it took this long despite it being 2 AM meant it was further away than expected. The hospital and Su-han’s house were close, yet the bar was this far… it was full of questions.
Furthermore, the BAR was a place with private rooms. Was the dinner actually for business entertainment? Strange. Hyung hates entertainment and doesn’t attend such gatherings, so what happened? The closer he got to Ji Su-han, the deeper the mysteries became.
“Excuse me. I’m here for—”
Jeong-min opened the door to the room the waiter had guided him to and was startled. He momentarily held his breath at the sudden rush of dominant Omega pheromones. Then, he scanned the room.
Messy liquor bottles. And a man collapsed there, while the owner of the pheromones, a male-type Omega, was hesitating while adjusting his clothes.
And that Omega was someone Jeong-min knew. He was the dominant Omega who had been brought to the hospital not long ago.
Jeong-min grasped the situation instantly. He didn’t know the details, but the company dinner was an excuse, and Su-han had been drinking with the dominant Omega who had been his patient. And perhaps, the two of them might have had sex here. But why did he call him? Nothing was clear.
“Tsk.”
He couldn’t just leave Su-han behind after coming all this way. Clicking his tongue, Jeong-min first supported the collapsed Su-han and sat him in a chair.
“Hyung, Su-han Hyung. Are you okay?”
He was a mess, perhaps having drunk enough to lose consciousness. His neat hair, his clothes that always had sharp creases… everything.
Jeong-min calmly tidied his front and jacket and looked for his bag.
“Um, excuse me—”
The dominant Omega called out to Jeong-min, but Jeong-min didn’t have the headspace to answer. He felt he needed to get Su-han out of there quickly. The Omega handed a bag to Jeong-min.

“Why are you here?”
“Well… I work here…. But earlier, Dr. Ji Su-han and other doctors came together. The other people took the Omegas and left… and I was with Dr. Ji Su-han… but Dr. Ji Su-han said a patient couldn’t, and then he just kept drinking….”
He could roughly tell what had happened. For a moment, Jeong-min wanted to slap his own cheeks for doubting Ji Su-han. Right. Ji Su-han was absolutely not that kind of man. That was the reason he trusted and followed this man.
“I-I took some medicine earlier, so my pheromone control….”
It was probably some cheap heat-inducing drug they serve at the bar.
Jeong-min sighed, sat Ji Su-han back on the sofa, took out his wallet, and gave the man the powdered suppressant he always carried as emergency medicine.
“It’s an emergency suppressant, so you’ll feel better within five minutes.”
“Thank… you.”
He received it carefully with both hands, sobbing. Jeong-min supported Ji Su-han once again.
“I was grateful back then, too. Because the doctor helped me so much, I… was able to be discharged safely without any issues.”
“It was simply my duty as a physician. I’ll ask the waiter to call a taxi for you. Goodbye.”
Jeong-min supported Su-han as they left the BAR.
“Hyung, wake up. Please?”
“Mmm….”
He helped Su-han into the waiting taxi first and sat down beside him. Once the door closed, Jeong-min opened the window slightly. The smell of alcohol—and Omega pheromones….
He probably drank this much to avoid being swept away by those pheromones. He really is an incredible person.
They arrived at Su-han’s house slightly faster than they had on the way here. After barely managing to lay the still-unconscious man on the bed, Jeong-min drank a glass of cold water.
“Phew….”
Wiping his mouth, he leaned against the table for a moment.
He felt frustrated because Su-han had been acting out of character lately. He wondered what on earth was wrong with him… or if it was just a simple release of desire. Or perhaps there was some other wound. When he had asked before, Su-han said nothing was wrong… but for that to be the case, this period of wandering was a bit too long.
‘By the way, did he actually call for me? I should have asked.’
It was strange if he did, and strange if he didn’t….
Jeong-min approached Su-han with a cup of cold water. Since he didn’t intend to wake him, he placed the cup on the bedside table and helped him out of his jacket.

Su-han frowned and let out a breath. The smell of alcohol wafted up strongly.
“Hyung, are you awake? Drink some water, Hyung.”
Jeong-min called out to Su-han while looking at his face. At that moment, something grabbed Jeong-min’s arm and pulled. Losing his balance, Jeong-min fell onto the bed, his head hitting the headboard with a thud. After closing his eyes for a moment with a slight ringing in his ears, Jeong-min opened them to a pheromone weight that felt as if it were heavily pinning him down.
Before he knew it, Su-han was on top of him, eyes wide open and staring at him.
And he was releasing his pheromones to the fullest, provoking Jeong-min’s Alpha pheromones.
“Hyung—please pull back your pheromones. It’s too much.”
“Shin Jeong-min…?”
Jeong-min felt relieved to see that Su-han recognized him. He thought Su-han would now withdraw the sharply piercing pheromones, but within seconds, Su-han’s pheromones pressed down on Jeong-min even more intensely.
“Su-han—!”
The moment he opened his mouth, Su-han’s tongue pushed inside.
“Ugh—mm—”
Jeong-min put strength into his arms and tried to push Su-han away. He shook his head from side to side, rejecting Su-han, who continued to crave his lips, but Su-han followed him relentlessly.
Su-han stripped off Jeong-min’s clothes as if tearing them away. Jeong-min called out Su-han’s name and struck his back with his fist, but he didn’t budge.
As the Alpha pheromones clashed, Jeong-min thought that if an Omega were here, they might have died from the sheer exhaustion of the energy. Jeong-min’s aggressive pheromones and Su-han’s desire-filled pheromones mixed together, leaving Jeong-min feeling suffocated.
However, he couldn’t win the pheromone battle against Su-han. Jeong-min was an Alpha close to recessive, while Su-han was an Alpha close to dominant. Moreover, it was difficult to defeat an Alpha who was drenched in alcohol and driven only by instinct. Above all, he hadn’t realized that the original difference in their physiques would work so disadvantageously for him.
Still, he had no intention of letting this terrible situation happen. No matter how much experience he had being held by an Alpha, Shin-woo had been the last. Since then, he had never been held by anyone, nor had he ever thought about it.
Because…. Even if the first time was unavoidable, he wanted the end to be with Shin-woo. He didn’t want to be covered in someone else’s traces.
Jeong-min clenched his fists and pushed Su-han away. When that failed after several attempts, he apologized to Su-han and then struck Su-han’s solar plexus with all his might just as Su-han had stripped his clothes and begun to lick his chest.
With a thud, Su-han’s movements stopped, and with a groan, he collapsed on top of Jeong-min.
Jeong-min pushed the fallen Su-han aside and got off the bed. His hands were tingling as he picked up his scattered clothes. He wanted to get out of here. He felt suffocated. He hated this.
