“Cute, Chase! How is it, pretty? Should we try putting my clothes on you?”
Stacy was excited, but Chase thought differently. He grabbed the hairpin stuck in his hair and flung it to the floor.
“I don’t want to wear girl clothes, I said no!”
“Hey!”
Stacy slapped Chase’s cheek. Startled, Koi hurriedly grabbed Stacy and pulled her away, and Grayson stepped in.
“What’s the big deal, just wear it! Daddy wears them too!”
“Cough.”
Surprised, Koi reflexively let out a rough cough. The children were glaring at each other in a standoff, so they paid no attention to him at all. Koi looked back and forth between Grayson and Stacy on one side and Chase on the other, stammering.
“Uh, wha, what do you…”
Only then did Grayson turn to look at Koi and answer.
“I saw it before. Here, like this, there’s a roof-like thing.”
Judging by the way he waved his hand over his shoulder, he was talking about a sailor uniform. Koi recalled the night a few days ago when he wore a crop top that barely covered his chest and a skirt so short it didn’t even cover his buttocks, and his vision went dark.
“You saw that…?”
As he muttered blankly, Grayson nodded this time.
“Yeah, I came to see Daddy, but Papa told me not to come in. He said Daddy and Papa had something to see just between the two of them.”
“But Daddy, why does Papa spank Daddy’s butt?”
At Stacy’s follow-up question, he finally couldn’t bear it and plopped down on the spot.
His mind went blank, and nothing came to mind anymore. His face felt like it was burning with shame. When his chest leaked milk, he thought there couldn’t be anything more embarrassing than that.
But he was wrong. There’s always a lower bottom beneath the bottom. Koi began to fear what other incredible things might lie ahead for him.
“So, so, you guys.”
Koi struggled to open his mouth to somehow salvage the situation.
“You shouldn’t play around here like this. Like I said earlier, these are Daddy’s things, so you shouldn’t rummage through them as you please…”
“Why does Daddy wear girl clothes?”
Just as Koi was about to persuade the children again, Chase suddenly asked. Seeing Chase’s face full of dissatisfaction no matter where he looked, Koi blinked in confusion.
“Because, because…”
Because Papa is a pervert who likes making Daddy wear clothes like that.
…There was absolutely no way he could say that. Koi sweated profusely, trying to find something to say, and pointlessly glanced around.
“…Clothes don’t have a gender.”
That was all he could manage to say. Under the gaze of six eyes staring at him as if asking what on earth he meant, Koi struggled to continue.
“Men can wear skirts, they can wear high heels. You can just wear what you want. There’s no such thing as wearing this because you’re a girl or wearing that because you’re a man.”
Did they understand?
Koi watched the children anxiously in his heart. It might still be too difficult for them to grasp…
“I see.”
Just as a negative thought crossed his mind, Stacy suddenly nodded. Did she understand? Looking up at Koi’s face, which brightened instantly, his daughter said.
“So Daddy likes wearing girl clothes.”
“No… that’s not it.”
Should he first point out that there’s no such thing as girl clothes or boy clothes, or should he correct her that it’s not him but Papa who likes such things? Unable to make a choice, Koi covered his head with both hands and gave up. Leaving Koi like that, Stacy turned her attention to Chase.
“You heard? So you can wear them too.”
“Let’s go, to Stacy’s room.”
“No! I said no!”
Grayson and Stacy grabbed Chase’s arms and dragged him out of the dressing room. Koi, belatedly panicking, grabbed Chase.
“No, you can’t. Chase doesn’t like it.”
When he firmly stopped the twins’ actions, Chase, who had been pulled toward Koi, finally made a relieved, contorted face.
“Waaah…”
“It’s okay, Chase. Don’t cry.”
Feeling sorry for the sniffling child, Koi hugged Chase and patted his back. He looked down at the twins, who were staring up at him discontentedly, and gently admonished them.
“You shouldn’t force what you want to do on others. You have to think about what Chase needs first. Daddy always says it, right? To help others.”
Grayson nodded, and Stacy also said, “I know.” Seeing the children accept it obediently, Koi felt relieved and smiled.
“Good, that’s settled. Now let’s go out and play.”
Setting down Chase, who had stopped crying by now, the child hurriedly ran out of the room, chasing after Grayson and Stacy. Hearing the sound of the children’s footsteps running down the hallway, Koi finally let out a sigh of relief and belatedly began tidying up the scattered clothes. Though all he did was gather them haphazardly and stuff them into the trunk.
I need to be more careful from now on.
Although such special days had decreased since having the children, Ashley had become that much more persistent instead. Thinking that he might really get caught in a decisive moment if he wasn’t careful, a chill ran down his spine to the point of trembling. Making resolutions alone wasn’t enough. Koi made up his mind and waited only for Ashley to return.
“I have something to talk about.”
As soon as he saw Ashley’s face upon returning home, Koi declared. Ashley looked at him curiously, his expression unusually stiff and rigid. Once they entered the room and were alone, Ashley finally spoke.
“Tell me.”
As if he had been waiting, Ashley pulled Koi into an embrace and fixed his gaze on him. Koi took a deep breath and then spoke.
“The children went into the dressing room.”
Ashley didn’t urge him to continue, merely furrowing his brows. As if asking what happened next. Koi inhaled and exhaled again before barely managing to confess.
“They saw them.”
In a tone so serious it was almost solemn, Koi finally revealed the object.
“Your taste in clothes.”
Ashley said nothing. Until then, he had been listening with a serious face, but now he tilted his head to one side. To Koi, who had been anxiously waiting, Ashley put on a rather serious expression and spoke.
“I remember you liking them too.”
“Who did!”
Koi flared up and widened his eyes. He was being serious, and here Ashley was cracking jokes out of nowhere. Did Ashley not grasp at all how important this issue was?
“Think about it, it can’t be good for the children’s upbringing. Today, they rummaged through my… clothes and this and that for quite a while. They’re still young and don’t know what it is, but when they grow a bit more and gain knowledge in that area…”
Just imagining it made him want to scream. Looking down at Koi’s face, which had turned dark red like a ripe plum, Ashley asked an unexpected question.
“Why did the children come in here?”
“Huh?”
It was an unexpected question. What had the children said? After briefly searching his memory, Koi soon provided an answer.
“I think they came to look because they were curious about my clothes… You said before, that… when I wore the navy outfit, the children saw it…”
His voice gradually faded due to shame. Unable to even finish the sentence, Koi closed his mouth. At his reaction, Ashley gave a faint smile.
“Right, that happened.”
“Then we should be careful from now on…”
As soon as he heard that, Koi immediately responded. But Ashley remained composed and kissed Koi’s lips. The lips that had touched softly rubbed against the inner flesh before pulling away. Still holding Koi, Ashley looked down at him and pressed his forehead against Koi’s.
“There’s a way.”
At the gentle voice, Koi immediately felt reassured. It was strange. Even though Ashley hadn’t done anything, perhaps due to blind trust, Koi felt at ease just from that.
“So, what are you going to do?”
Was he going to suggest not doing it at the mansion from now on? That’s not bad either. Occasionally going to a hotel or something to spend time alone would be a good method too.
Then I think I could focus much better than now…
Feeling both embarrassed and expectant, he asked. Ashley smiled.
“From now on, don’t let the children into the room.”
“What?”
Koi froze with his smiling face still intact. Blinking as he looked up, Ashley merely smiled back.
