“Yeah.”

I thought I knew what he meant. If we parted now, we wouldn’t see each other for four days.

“Tomorrow, no, from today, I’ll be rehearsing all day.”

I put on my pants properly and turned to look at Sung Se-han.

“Se-han, you’ll do well at the concert in Japan too. I’ve already seen it all.”

Sung Se-han swept my hair back. My bangs were wet, probably because I had sweated a lot too.

“Tae-kyung, do you know that I feel a little strange when you say things like that sometimes?”

I felt a little guilty, so I cleared my throat and opened the car door.

“Anyway, Se-han, you don’t have to contact me tomorrow, so call me once before you leave…”

Sung Se-han reached out and pulled my neck. I grabbed Sung Se-han’s face with both hands and kissed his handsome nose.

“Have a good concert in Japan.”

Sung Se-han’s face, smiling lightly, had a more stable look in his eyes than ever before. His comfortable eyes, without any suppressed emotions or cynical atmosphere, made my heart swell as if it was all thanks to me.

So I had to drive home at full speed. If I didn’t calm this overwhelming emotion, I would never be able to sleep.

I ran as hard as I could and looked back when I had climbed all the stairs. I couldn’t see the parking lot at the back gate, but just the fact that Sung Se-han was still there made my emotions uncontrollable.

“But Tae-min, aren’t you curious about Se-han’s performance? He was amazing today?”

It was a question out of pure curiosity. But Tae-min’s expression, as he looked at me with his arms crossed, became serious.

“Is Hyung thinking about Se-han Hyung all day?”

I was so taken aback by Tae-min’s words that I couldn’t control my expression.

“Tae-min, I just… watching stage videos is a habit, even when I’m resting. And, Perfect Puzzle’s members are all good performers, so there’s a lot to learn from….”

Everything was true, but the problem was that what I had been looking up today wasn’t Perfect Puzzle’s performance, but only Sung Se-han’s individual fancams.

“It’s a relief if that’s not the case, Tae-min. Why are you being so aggressive with your language, huh? I know Se-han and I aren’t good examples, but I still want our Tae-min to use only pretty words. You know Hyung’s heart, right?”

I hugged Tae-min’s shoulders, who was rolling his eyes, and pressed my nose against his. Then the kid cutely furrowed his brow.

“I do have something to say to Hyung, but I can’t say it now.”

“My thoughts aren’t organized yet. And… I promised to talk to Se-han Hyung first.”

Tae-min’s words didn’t sound light, so I couldn’t easily open my mouth.

“Tae-min? You’re my brother, but why are you talking to Se-han first? Isn’t that betrayal?”

I tried to test the waters lightly, but Tae-min firmly shut his mouth.

“Hyung, you said you threw away all of Se-han Hyung’s photos, but you had them very well taken care of, didn’t you? Why did you lie?”

I avoided Tae-min’s gaze and looked at the desk drawer. Tae-min must have found the USB hidden in the drawer.

“You little rascal, how could I throw that away?”

When I thought Sung Se-han had betrayed me, I hated everything about him and thought I never wanted to see him again. But in the end, I knew I would forgive Sung Se-han, so I couldn’t throw anything away.

“All the memories from when we went on a family trip together are in there. It’s really precious to me.”

“I didn’t throw them away either, actually.”

Tae-min confessed with a pout, making me chuckle in disbelief.

I hurriedly got up from the bed at the sound of my phone ringing loudly on the desk. After checking the name on the screen, my strength drained from my body in disappointment.

I must have been expecting Sung Se-han to call, even though the congratulatory performance wasn’t even over yet. I really need to get my act together.

Seeing me answer the phone, Tae-min quietly left the room.

Seeing him like that, I regretted wearing a plain turtleneck and a Windbreaker. I should have paid more attention to my style….
